Adelphi could be one of the best hotels in Liverpool, it needs some serious money spending on it. The room we stayed in was dusty and needed a good clean, curtains were tired and Grubby looking. The carpet was stained and tatty. I wish I could say some good things about the state of the hotel, I couldn't. I did tell... More

Went with National Holidays two days one night, evening meal bed and breakfast, an Elvis tribute on Sunday night with a 2 for 1 bar until 9pm all I can say it was worth every penny. This is the second time we have been but not the last, last time was a Beatles tribute. No Complaints at all, the Hotel... More

We stayed for two nights Tues/Wed at this victorian marvel. First off there is a Britania car park on the at the rear of the hotel at £12/24 hrs. Reading the notice you can pay at machine or mess about trying to do it over phone like I did. Then I booked in at reception and found I could have... More

What a shame that this hotel has been left to become so run down! It would have been a sight to see in its day. We only stayed one night and we were very disappointed. Ok so it was the cheapest hotel we could find short notice, so of course we weren't given the biggest of rooms, (only room for... More

We booked this hotel as a bed, breakfast and dinner package with Groupon. Hotel was lovely looking but a bit tired in areas. The room was a little small but was adequate for what we needed and the bed was very comfortable. The meal in the restaurant was lovely, the hotel was ideally situated for the station and centre.

Its a former faded glory hotel I'm afraid living on borrowed time. It is dreadful. Every single part of it needs redoing... And we were initially given a tobacco stinking smoking room?? Do they even exist? Thought that had been stopped years ago! Its such a shame as this is the first time I have ever given a bad review... More

My husband booked this hotel while I was shopping in Liverpool and it was getting quiet late. Neither of us had stayed here before... And never will again! The foyer of the hotel is quiet impressive and this is why my hubbie thought it would be perfect. However, the room was far from impressive! It was filthy, even the walls... More

Paid £59 for a double room including breakfast which was good value. You can imagine how stunning this hotel would have been in its hey day. The corridoors are lined with marble but all the woodwork and upholstery needs updating. Room was big and spacious but the cleanliness was not good. The light fittings above the bed were full of...
