Somewhere on the wall was a small plaque proudly declaring that this place won the award for "Most Improved Hostel". Who knows what this place was like beforehand. My imagination can't even go to such dark places. I luckily got the top bunk. I didn't have any sheets, so the staff pulled the sheets off the bunk below me. Poor... More

Came with my sports team and at the time of booking we were not told about the room deposit. At first we were told the deposit was £20 pp and so we proceeded to all make our way to a cashpoint. Once we had all sorted our money out they changed their minds and it was now £20 per room.... More

If your looking for somewhere to stay after a night out in Liverpool this is not the place for you ! We booked an 8 bed dorm with PRIVATE bathroom . Upon arrival as I made the booking I was pulled to one side and told in broken English "you have booked 8beds not a room or bathroom there will... More

We booked the 10 man room at £27 per person and were pretty disappointed. The hostel itself was pretty grubby and in need of some work, however our room was truly awful. The light in the bathroom was hanging down by the wires and there were no curtains (with two big windows). When we asked the manager about this, he... More

Having travelled quite a lot across Europe, Everton Hostel has been one of my favourites. The reason is because this place is surrounded by a young-people atmosphere. All the guys that work here are people in their twenties who are kind of doing holidays for a long period in Liverpool. They always hang out with the guests at the common... More

The Everton Hostel is a very good hostel located a little but outside the city center which gives it a special atmosphere of being quiet enough to relax and still being busy enough to enjoy a good party. The staff is multilingual and extraordinary, there are 3 chillout areas, you can do your laundry and ironing, there is free hot... More

The room was grubby, toilet had no seat, tap was broken, and shower was dirty and flooded. Generally found that the place needs a good clean. Even charged extra for use of towel. Very little choice for breakfast. I appreciate that the cost of the stay is cheap, but, at least the room should be clean and maintained. I would... More

The staff here are wonderful, upon arrival I was greeted and given a intro to the hostel - where everything is etc and what services the offer. I was then shown to my room upstairs and they offered to carry my bags for me which was lovely. The rooms are spacious and have comfortable beds. The hostel is in a... More
