Location: Close to train station, bit of a dodgy area Building: Well maintained, clean and secure Rooms: Room was great, except for one major thing. stayed in a private double wih en suite. the room was serviced which we were not expecting! great location - close to lime st station and an easy walk down to the docks. would stay here again! more

I would just like to thanks everyone at the hostel. I went at the weekend for my hen nite, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms were perfect and a good price for what we wanted, and I would recommend this to anyone more

Difficult to compare The Hatters to other accommodations as it has a youthful appeal, but has hotel-type rooms. My husband and I stayed in a double booked by a tour group with an ensuite bathroom of our own. Stayed for the night on 2nd May and was very satisfied with the hostel. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Room was basic but clean and comfortable, with 2 single beds, a unit for hanging your clothes up and a TV on the wall.
