It is perfectly placed to visit the city, but don't expect much luxuary. A bed and breakfast, that's it. Fine people at the reception, hot shower, and a place to sleep. But also a lot of noise during the night, from fellow guests at the end of the hall.
Stayed here for two nights on a stag weekend when we went to Aintree for Grand National Day.

Walking distance to Liverpool Lime St. Station, very clean facilities and rooms, decent size bathroom and a wonderful team. I highly recommend the Hatters Liverpool.
Hostel is easy to find. Just few steps from city center. Very helpfull staff. Room are not too big but you'got enought place. Breakfast OK. Common room ready for cooking. Recommend !! ;)
