Booked this hotel at short notice and checked in two hours later very efficient having never stayed in Liverpool previously I checked Tripadivisor (of course) as I was booking blind so to speak and paid £34 for one Sunday night. The big bright well furnished rooms with excellent bathroom was a real joy. The hotel is a five minute walk... More

I recently stayed at Roscoe House with my partner. We arrived quite late at night but we were let in immediately by a member of staff, check in was very quick and we had our room in no time. The only problem that occurred was our shower not working, sometimes these things just happen. The staff on duty were very... More

I had to cancel a stay at this hotel due to a change in plans. Cancelled within Expedia allowed time frame and the hotel took a nights accommodation anyway. Rude manager when I debated the whole issue and now refusing to pay!! Never again would I book this hotel. I am now involved in email exchange with Expedia for a... More

Having booked a hostel I wasn't expecting the luxurious room we arrived into, more fitting to a hotel. Beautiful high ceilings, quirky art work (Lowry), and lots of space. We booked a double room from Monday to Wednesday in September 2014, the room had an en suite bathroom and a spare room that could be used as a living room... More

We stayed at Roscoe House on a Tuesday night. The room we were given was lovely (big, clean and full of character) the staff really helpful and location was central and vibrant. It was also excellent value for money.

I stayed here with my boyfriend on Sun 31/08. We got a great deal through Venere (£41 with discount). The hotel was quite easy to find from Lime Street Station, approx. 15 mins walk. It's on a quiet Georgian street. The entrance is characterful, not grand but cute and with charm. We stayed in a back room on the first... More

We had booked into this hotel from a special deal on lastminute.com. On our way to Liverpool we receive a phone call to say that our room wasn't ready as a result of unfinished decorating. So we had been booked into another hotel. This we found quite annoying - why bother putting the room up for a special offer only... More

The booking was made for my birthday and we chose this hotel specifically because of the Spa treatments advertised. On arrival we were instructed to park at the Cathedral, and was told parking would incur a charge of £6 per day once we had spoken to the security gate. This is not "Free Parking" as the website says. We checked... More
