I stayed there on 2nd February; it's a really nice little place at very reasonable rates..I recommend it especially for fans travelling for Liverpool games as I was.. The manager Pat is a really friendly guy and the service is great...more people should take advantage if they're coming for games in particular.. It's a hostel so you can't expect so... More

I enjoyed the Strawberry House a lot; it's a comfortable place to stay and located close enough to walk to the Sandhills rail station. Most of all, I appreciated how kind and helpful the proprietor was. I missed the first night of my reservation and wasn't able to call ahead and alert him, so he would've been within his rights...
