This hotel was very good, and the breakfast was excellent. Especially for the price we paid. All they really need to do is pick the hotel up and move it to a better location. We chose this hotel because it was between the City and Amfield, which is why we were in town. As our taxi was driving us there,... more

We were very pleased when we checked into the hotel to find that we had been upgraded to an apartment from our room because it was our wedding anniversary. And that wasn't the only pleasant suprise. The rooms we had were very nice and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was very nice, cooked as per our requests and delivered to our... more

Stayed here at the Beech Mount Hotel at the weekend and the only thing I can compare this Hotel to is fawlty towers. The rooms were fairly clean apart from the stains on the throw and the wallpaper was peeling but when I say you can't swing a cat you can't, the room is very cramp and its seems like... more

The staff were very friendly and most helpful, (thanks Barry for your efforts in recovering my lost camcorder). The building is a lovely old renovated residence in a quiet area of Liverpool. It is a little out of town, hence quiet but the bus is very close by and a 10 - 15 min trip to the city and attractions,... more

We arrived at 11 am hoping to be able to just leave the car and head into town but the staff said that they would get the room ready in half an hour if we waited and gave us coffee and biscuits as well. The room was very nice, spacious and clean, the bed was big and comfortable. The bathrrom... more

The area for about a mile surrounding the hotel was like a nuclear wasteland. We found out once there that Kensington is known as Liverpool's gun and violent crime capital. The rooms are tiny. On arrival we felt the staff were unfriendly and dour. Breakfast was the only highlight, but its nothing special. You can have a full english, or... more

Stayed at hotel on a Saturday night. Arrived saturday morning and parked car on-site before going into city for the day. Also left car on Sunday . Staff very friendly, rooms clean and well presented with free toiletries and plenty of tea, coffee etc. Nice touch was chocolates on the pillows! Breakfast was great, good choice of cereals and pastries... more

Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was very good. Staff polite and helpful. Our room was a little on the small side and the shower pressure was not great but these are minor points. The only thing I would suggest travellers be sure about is whether the location is really what you want. It was fine for us as we were... more

Tiny rooms, no windows, only velux type skylight, metal trim fell off mine, the one in my sisters room didnt shut and the covering blind fell down. Kettle in my room wouldnt switch off, boiled dry while I was showering!, this was reported to receptionist at 6pm, he said "I will look at it", nothing had been done when we... more
