Dirty room, grubby linen, mouldy bathroom. I agree with some of the other reviews to a point but you have to look at the overall picture. Yes it could do with a bit of a re-furb but I found the most important things OK. The bed was comfortable with clean bed linen. Towels were plentyfull and clean. Plenty of handwash and shower gel. Breakfast was good... more

Not much of a Hotel, overall very grubby and shoddy. Our room was tiny to say the least and stains all over the pillow cases, the bathroom was so tiny with mouldy tiles surrounding the shower cubicle toilet handle came away and wouldn't flush properly. The worst place I have ever stayed, in terms of quality, cleanliness and value. The hallway upstairs smelt, the room was unpleasantly hot, despite opening as many windows as possible, and the toilet would only work after four flushes, and then not sufficiently. The hotel was booked for us by a friend. We only looked at the reviews the night before we travelled and got the shock of our lifes reading them. we thought of cancelling but it would have cost so much being so late on. Any way i'm glad we didn't. I can't see why there were so many negative reviews.... more
