Two excellent lunchtime meals. Fish pie and vegetables, Stilton and caramelised onion tart, salad and chips all piping hot, service time reasonable by very pleasant young man. Eating in or out, we chose in for comfortable chairs. Music not too loud thank God Will definitely return

Stayed for one night and loved it. Checked in then had a nice walk into Lincoln along the river. Had food at the pyewipe in the evening which was excellent. Rooms were great although a little warm. Will definitely be back in the summer to sit outside with the dog then a walk into Lincoln again.

This is our second visit to the Pyewipe and once again the accomodation was execellent along with the evening meal. The staff were courteous and friendly, the cooked breakfast was good but along with our previous visit if you didn't require a cooked breakfast the choice was very limited to just cereals and toast ( we did mention the previous... We booked a last-minute stay to Lincoln and were really glad we stayed at the Pyewipe Inn. It was a few minutes out of town but in a lovely setting. Room was comfortable and well-equipped, clean and nicely decorated. Supper was fabulous - absolutely delicious and very reasonable considering prices down south! Breakfast was scrumptious and the staff were friendly... More

We have just had a too short stay at the Pyewipe (Lapwing) Hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and the accomodation in the Lodge was up to a high standard. Would recommend. We will be coming back in the future. Just watch the speed bumps on the entry road.

We stayed here after being badly let down by the owner of Tennyson Court cottages and were not disappointed in either the accommodation or pub/restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food of a high standard. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. Its a 15 minute taxi into the centre of town or a pleasant 25... More

When we visit family in lincoln we always go for lunch here and we are never disappointed in the food. The main courses are always tasty and the sticky toffee pudding is the best I have had at any pub. It's a comfortable warm pub with lots of seating for families. That's the positives but there's one negative which I... More

A little out of the way and I'm told it gets busy in the summer but on a cold March night a warm welcome was given. The food excellent and the service attentive but discreet. We had the choice of eating in the pub or the restaurant and as it was a quiet night we opted for the pub. I... More
