We stayed here for three nights and everything was great. The rooms are set back from the pub and are above average size with a well appointed bathroom and a hot shower. Toiletries and a hospitallity tray are included. The room was spotless. A lovely site right on the canal so a good spot to have an outdoor drink/meal and... More

a great location beside the Fossdyke Navigation and a pleasant walk of around 40 minutes into Lincoln. nice large rooms with comfy beds. a good restaurant with plenty of choice. the breakfast whilst freshly cooked was however a little spartan on choice. friendly and helpful staff. all in all a really nice place to stay.

Having heard good things about the food, I went with family on Saturday evening and left feeling really disappointed. The service was not good from arrival. We told the bar staff we had a table booked where a hand was waved in the direction of a doorway and we were told it was through there - so we found our... More

Check in was quick & easy, the rooms are in a separate building a short walk from the main Inn, there is ample parking in both areas. Our room no 17 looked out onto fields & was basic but clean with beverages, toiletries, TV etc & two queen size very comfy beds & adequate shower with large bath towels. The... More

My husband and I stayed here for a night on our way home from France. We wanted somewhere close enough to walk to Lincoln but in the countryside and we were not disappointed. The Pyewipe is located along the banks of the canal and accessed by a narrow country road. Our room was a good size and very comfortably furnished,... More

We looked for a place to stay in Lincoln and happened on the Pyewipe. What a find! a really pleasant place to stay in the country by the Fossdyke canal but with lovely views of Lincoln Cathedral and only five minutes drive from the city. Our room was large, spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Breakfast was freshly cooked... More

The Pyewipe used to be a pub on the Fossdyke a couple of miles outside Lincoln, and we had never really considered it as somewhere to stay when visiting Lincoln, until we went there last weekend. We discovered comfortable and larger-than average double bedrooms in a recently-built accommodation block, good food in the restaurant and excellent service from the friendly... More

The location is great as long as you don't mind about the traffic noise coming from the bypass 100 yards away, although the noise could be worse . Apart from that it's right on the river, surrounded by greenery. I had the soufflé which was beautifully cooked and was served quickly . The price is on the higher end for... More
