Very handly place just outside Lincoln but you can easily walk along the canal to the centre in 30 minutes. This is great as it avoids the traffic. The food in the pub was great - homemade puddings. The ring road is close by but you do not hear the traffic once inside. Good for a couple of nights. Not... More

We wanted somewhere to have a good Sunday lunch in Lincoln and couldn't have found a better place. We could only manage one course but the beef was splendid. We were asked if the beef was ok slightly pink. Oh yes! It was so succulent and with the huge yorkshire pud and lovely creamy mash and well cooked, piping hot... More

I was staying at the Pyewipe Inn on a business trip. I usually stay at a Holiday Inn or the Hilton, but fancied somewhere different. It's set about half a mile down a country lane and on first impressions looked nice. Staff/owners friendly. I was staying a week and thought the rooms/décor looked a bit 'dated'. However when I got... More

Quite like travel lodge with rooms in a block separate from 'hotel'. Room was satisfactory and breakfast was good. A lovely walk along canal to town takes a leisurely 30 mins. Waiters gave good service, food average pub grub.

We chose this hotel for a family reunion and spent an enjoyable four days. It is situated away from the city centre alongside the canal in a peaceful countryside environment. The city centre is a 30 minute comfortable and scenic walk along the canal towpath. The residential accommodation is in a modern building separated by about 100 yards from the... More

We found the Pyewipe Inn through a google search for b&b near Lincoln, and what a good find! The rooms are in a modern building at the other side of the carpark from the pub (which serves really good food, including the excellent inclusive breakfast). Rooms are spacious, warm and nicely decorated. Beds are really great - I often don't... More

Stayed here on Saturday 27th Sept with my Wife-On arrival the young man on reception was very helpful and courteous and we were pleasantly surprised at the size of our room when entering-We walked along the towpath alongside the canal at the side of the pub and reached the Quayside in Lincoln in about 25-30mins and had a few drinks... Situated by the canal 25 minutes walk from the centre of Lincoln, we stayed with friends for 3 nights. The staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. The accommodation was in the lodge a very short distance from the main building, the rooms were spacious and light and very quiet. We dined in the restaurant 3 times and the food... More

We stayed for two nights on our way back from County Durham to Romford. We found the rooms in the Lodge (which is across the car park from the pub itself) comfortable, good value and clean, though we did find the room stuffy on the first night. By the second night though we'd discovered the wall mounted fan unit in... More

Situated on the canal-side, this Inn is in a beautiful, quiet position. Access from the A57 is along a lengthy, narrow lane, with frequent passing places. A friendly greeting awaited us and after checking in we were quickly shown the accommodation Lodge, a short distance from the Inn itself. Our room was at the rear, overlooking fields, was very clean... More
