We stayed here as wedding guests, and found we had room 201. A previous reviewer has already written about room 201, and sent illustrative photos, so I don't need to describe it. Suffice to say it is very restrictive for two, and difficult to ventilate as the tiny window is set in a corner. The room was clean, as was... more

This could be a great hotel, instead it was a big disappointment. We booked two rooms for an overnight stay. The hotel is a ten minute drive from Lincoln. First the good. The hotel is in a beautiful old building in a great park like setting. The hotel has a great deal of charm and the common areas are very... more

We booked into Branston Hall for two nights for a family wedding because the reception was being held at the hotel. Having booked as part of the wedding party directly with the hotel several months in advance, we were offered a so-called luxury double room @£135 +VAT per night. The room and bed were very small, the bath/shower did not... more

Stayed at Branston Hall with my husband for my birthday. Mainly booked it for the good reviews of the restaurant which was actually a bit of a let down. What I had hoped was a nice romantic birthday meal was ruined by being sat next to a very noisy bride to be who wanted the whole restaurant to know she... more

This hotel was a wonderful surprise. Slightly dated, but very comfortable rooms & very peaceful. Welcoming & attentive staff. I ordered room service from a menu that looked unappetising... I received a fantastic meal that was quite unexpected. Visited the newly opened spa (within hotel grounds) & was also impressed with the staff & treatments on offer. Having suffered at... more

I just stayed here on business; I was worried it would be a bad place to stay as the reviews were not so good. However, I arrived and was pleasantly surprised, the building is amazing and even though the interior is a little dated it is part of its charm. The rooms were not bad, very clean and comfortable -... more

I had booked two twin rooms for one night to do some sight-seeing in Lincoln with some friends. The hotel is located a bit off, but this was no problem as we had hired a car for our stay, as well. The hotel is located in a vast park and in a great building. The staff is very friendly though... more
