This is nice bed and breakfast in uphill Lincoln. The breakfast is very good. The rooms are a little tired, as are the bathrooms. But for the price, it actually offers good value. Look out for the rather odd letter from a couple in the hall way more

We stayed just one night at the Carline, and must admit I'm glad it wasn't more. The hosts are wonderful, very welcoming and enthusiastic, especially at breakfast. This was our second stay at the Carline Guest House. The owners are very friendly and they serve up an excellent and very filling breakfast. Great location, close to the cathedral and the right side of steep hill! If you like a good ole fashioned English B&B you cannot go wrong with the Carline more

Great guesthouse, a short walk to Lincoln Cathedral and the Cathedral Quarter, a lovely part of Lincoln. The room was great and spotless, breakfast was very good and the owners Barry and Jackie were great hosts. more

Carline guesthouse, is only a five min walk away from cathedral square. The guesthouse is very pleasant and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and an average size.
