From the moment we arrived we felt comfortable. The welcome was genuinely warm and friendly. The room clean. We called for a drink in the bar before setting off into Lincoln. The beer was good and the barmaid voluntarily arranged a taxi so that we didn't have to climb Steep Hill in the rain! Although the pub was still quite... More

The Queen in the West is a traditional pub with bar and lounge. It serves good real ale which was a bonus. Upon arrival we were shown to our room (room 1) which was lovely. The staff are all really friendly. There is a door straight out to the street which is convenient as you get a permit for on... More

Thank you! for lovely weekend the staff gave us a warm welcome, the room was clean and cosy the only down side is the shower needs a little tlc. The breakfast was fantastic well worth a visit. The beer in the bar was very good and not badly priced.

This is not an Inn or a Tavern but a back street pub with a rather tired interior and some horrendous colour schemed wallpaper. There's also a bizzare attempt at cabana roof in the lounge above the bar. The public bar is dominated by three large to screens. They don't do food. However, the beer is well kept , staff... More

What more could you want from a pub the beer is great, not expensive and there is always a good choice.Whenever you pop in the staff are friendly, smiley and helpful and the pub is normally buzzing with people. There is usually a parking spot nearby if you're just going in for a quick one so it is no wonder... More

The staff are very friendly the place has a lovely bed and big bathroom but what makes the place are the people who run it. The pub has plenty of people in but you do not hear the noise, we used the bar to watch the rugby the locals make you feel welcome. The lady who runs it was up... More

Stayed here on Saturday night, whilst visiting family lincoln. We has the room up some steps. With a large separate shower room next door. Our room was very cosy and comfortable, and perfect after walking about Lincoln all afternoon. We had a few drinks in the bar before bed. And the next morning the friendly land lady cooked up a... We stayed here whilst visiting our daughter at Lincoln University so it was the perfect overnight stop for us. We had the ground floor room with our front door and parked our van right outside too. The pub was busy but no noise to disturb us plus the drinks were reasonably priced. Breakfast (full English) was amazing. Everyone was really... More
