We moved to the Savill Guest House from a less than satisfactory guesthouse in another part of Lincoln. Although we arrived at very short notice we were greeted warmly and made to feel at home. Thank you. Lovely, very big room overlooking fields and views to the horizon. The Savill is on a busy road, but the house is set... More

From booking to leaving we felt looked after. If you want modern, this is not for you but for us it was ideal. One of the few places that does not inflate prices for the market days. Our hosts looked after us and pointed out places to visit at the less crowded times. Our room had super views and had... More

Stayed here for one night to visit Lincoln Xmas market. The owners, Mary and Alan were lovely, so friendly and welcoming. Our room was lovely, apparently it was one of the smaller rooms but we loved it. It was so comfortable with lots of lovely homely touches. Breakfast was very nice, freshly cooked by Alan, nothing was too much trouble.... More

We stayed here for the Steampunk event, September 2014. The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly. The house itself is a lovely late Victorian building with lots of original features. Our room was large and there were a lovely ensuite with claw foot bath and separate shower cubicle. Breakfast was tasty with lots of options and a good veggie choice.... More

We needed four rooms for one night as we were all going to a family wedding. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the whole place was clean and comfortable, and the full english breakfast was excellent. Very good value for money and close to the historic part of the city. If ever we need a place to stay in... More

I actually fell in love with everything about this Guest House. It was a last minute decision to stay overnight in Lincoln and I went to the Tourist Information Board in the City Centre for help. After about 10 phone calls they found the Savill had spaces. As you approach the Guest House you feel that you are in some... More

Ideal place for a short stay in Lincoln. Very handy to walk from to the old part of the city with friendly owners who suggested some good real ale pubs and restaurants to visit during our stay. The family room was ideal for our stay and had a good view over the old racecourse.

From the moment you walk through the huge front door of this house your mind starts to imagine it in the Victorian period where ladies would come down the large staircase in their long dresses, If you are looking for a guest house with a lot of character then this is the place for you. The bedrooms are very spacious... More

Really enjoyed our stay here; it's a fine base if you're going to spend a few days in Lincoln :) breakfasts were very nice and the main house is lovely - not far to walk to the city centre either so you can leave your car (check out the windmill just around the corner)
