I travel to Lincoln on business on a regular basis. I pay for the hotel and so I'm looking for good value. The rack rate for this hotel is £49 per night for a room, as an Accor Favourite Guest I get a 10% discount. I'd often be able to get a room for £39 if I was willing to... more

Needed a bed for the night for an unexpected stay in Lincoln, paid £44 direct with the hotel and the room would have slept 2 adults and two children - what can I say, the room was clean, warm and quite large with a decent size flat screen tv, double shower, nice towels. You cannot beat this for value for... more

Relatively new looking building. Very clean, very bland. The bed... what can I say? A double sheet of hardboard with four legs screen on to it, which are in turn screwed into the floor. Then a three inch mattress placed on top for good measure. I mean seriously.... chipboard I think it was! Staff were uninterested on check in, almost... more

I stayed in the Ibis for three nights with my one year old son, and I found the staff at the hotel to be lovely. They were friendly, helpful and really great with my son. If you're a tourist hoping to stay in picturesque Lincoln, then no, this isn't the hotel for you as it's on the outskirts of the... more

It was cheap. I should have guessed why. I've never had a hotel check my credit card on check in to see if I had the funds to pay. That was the warning sign.... The room was basic but a good size. It was a little frayed at the edges. The skirting board sat 2cm above the carpet, which made... more

The Ibis Lincoln is outside a suburb of Lincoln and, while easy to get to, provides a frustrating rush-hour journey to the centre of Lincoln. The room was fine for the money, but no air-conditioning and 29 Celsius temperatures meant that I had to keep the window open all the time, fine except for the very busy A road passing... more

We stayed here Oct '07 and loved it. Staff very friendly and arranged adjoining rooms for us on request by phone. Didn't eat there but within 50 yards there's a large family pub (The Pride of Lincoln) that does food and there's a Frankie and Bennies next to that. It's a little out of town but the road that leads... more

Booked via Ibis hotels on line, we were in Lincoln with my parents for the Christmas Markets. Check-in, swift and professional. Rooms clean, if a little too warm. Public areas modern & bright. Buffet Breakfast, all you can ask for, breads, cheese, meat, cereal, fruit, Bagels, just about everything. Lovely coffee machine, doing all ranges of coffee, including Mocha -... more
