We loved the fact that we were right in the Cathedral quarter and at the top of Steep Hill! The building is old and full of character but has been refurbished and furnished in a sympathetic manner. The room was very clean and comfortable as was the breakfast area. The choice and quality of breakfast was excellent. The owner was... More

We recently had a weekend break at the Cathedral View Guest House. The room was comfortable, although fairly small. This is to be expected as the building is centuries old and loads of character. The ensuite and shower were not too small and nice and warm. We were arriving on New Year's Day, and we were told we could check... More

Stopped here for 2 nights mid week. Was a little nervous about entering the car park after reading some of the reviews but not half as bad as expected - we took our slimmest car! We received a very warm welcome. Our room was super, with bedroom and separate lounge area. En-suite a little cramped but then this is a... More

We stayed here mid week and was very nice..our room was on the ground floor at the front..it had shuttered Windows which we couldn't have open due to it being to everyone walking past and looking in..I found this quite claustrophobic and dark.We didn't spend much time in the room but we had to have lights on when we did.The... An absolutely superb guest house, steeped in character and history, big rooms ours had a massive original fireplace. The bed was so comfy, shower powerful and bathroom very clean. Off road parking was such a bonus and breakfast was perfect. We would like to thank Helen for staying at the guesthouse and waiting for us to arrive long past our... More

Family of five on a touring holiday to UK, which we left three years ago. Had two adjoining rooms. Booking was easy, and can be done directly online with the B&B. Paul the proprietor was very helpful and the perfect host. Breakfast was a highlight, especially for the kids - tasty, filling but not too heavy or greasy. Certainly set... More

After ,as advised , a bit of squeeze to get in through the arch we were greeted by one of the staff . Checked our bags in, cup of coffee from refreshments in room ,biscuit too , my wife and I hit the town which is dead centre to CV. No worry about parking felt great. Every thing you need... More

Good price to be close to the historic highlights. Therefore slightly noisy on Friday and Saturday nights, but earplugs helped. Would recommend for couples and families, but be careful which room you choose, the top one has very low beams and lots of steps. Vegetarian Breakfast is GREAT.

Stayed here at the weekend with my boyfriend. What a lovely place! The staff were great! Very polite and helpful. The room we stayed in was lovely, heard the bells from the cathedral quite a lot but it didn't bother us. The breakfast was lovely too. The car park is a little tight (my boyfriend had to turn it around... More

We chose Lincoln as we were looking for a weekend break and wanted somewhere we hadn't been before. We were not disappointed in our choice of guest house, it was perfectly situated between the castle and the cathedral. The room was lovely, breakfasts fantastic, and our hosts were great, very friendly and more than helpful with places to visit in... More
