Stayed with my husband and in-laws during the bank holiday weekend. We all found the hotel to be attractively decorated, clean and comfortable, with friendly but not in-your-face owners. The rooms were spacious enough, and the beds deserve a special mention for being incredibly soft and comfy! Breakfast was standard fare, not mind-blowing but nice, and served with a smile... More

Stayed 2 nights whilst on work. I was given a lovely room overlooking the garden and the adjacent Arboretum. Good comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good and satisfying. I like the garden seating area. Relaxing. Very friendly owner and staff.

Don't be put off by the 2 star rating. The hotel is excellent and worth a full 5 stars. The hotel is family run, clean, comfy and dog friendly. We received a warm welcome and the staff were polite and friendly throughout our two day stay. The hotel is 5 mins away from the cathedral and city centre. The hotel... More

Booked this B&B based upon past reviews. Not let down. Mark and Amanda are so welcoming and make you feel relaxed from the start. The B&B offers a full breakfast which is really great and sts one up for a full day. The location is perfect. There a fantastic garden to sit in and relax, and a lounge area with... More

Faultless. Comfortable clean room, high standard of accommodation. Friendly professional staff and quality breakfast. Free parking. Five minutes walk from the cathedral. While in Lincoln we saw some of the other hotels that are highly rated on here and glad we booked Hillcrest. Will definitely be back.

Just got back from a trip to Lincoln. This was a nice hotel only a short walk to the Cathedral. The people were very welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was good. The breakfast room overlooking the garden was lovely.

We stayed overnight whilst visiting daughter at uni. It is a lovely hotel, spotlessly clean, bright and welcoming. The breakfast was very good and nothin was to much trouble. It is a really beautiful building which mixes the old with the new really well. I loved all the magnificent lights around the hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful.... More
