Stayed here with my Mother and Daughter at the end of October whilst visiting my Son at the nearby University. Could not fault it at all. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the service was second to none. Beautiful location and we were lucky enough to have a view of the quay. Just wish we had been staying for more... More

This was just so convenient as a tourist on foot around the city centre. Easy enough to park in the hotel car park at the rear, then just walk along to the end of the wharf and there are the city centre shops. Although in the centre it's only a couple of minutes off the main ring road, eg 10... More

We stated for two nights when attending a training course in central Lincoln. Excellent hotel location. We didnt use the car until we were ready to leave. Easy to park but at the prices charged it would have been nice to have it included in the cost. The receptionist was friendly but a bit vague. The area round reception feels... More

The standard of the rooms and customer service is second to none here; views over the waterfront, a choice of pillow firmness and comfortable rooms equipped to a very high standard all at a reasonable rate. No wonder we returned for a second visit!

Holiday Inn in Lincoln looks pretty good from the outside. It's located in an attractive riverside location with boats bobbing around and there is a good selection of restaurants on the door step. The hotel itself is absolutely shocking though. I arrived to check in to find that the (cheap, plastic) Christmas decorations had been put up - it was... More

Dear Guest, I am disappointed your stay with us was not all you had expected, please accept my apologies. Firstly I must apologise if the Christmas decorations at reception offended you on your arrival, we did actually have our first Christmas Party on the 29th of September so unfortunately there was an expectation of the areas being decorated, in turn... Let's start with the positives. The bathroom is nice, bed comfortable and breakfast is plentiful. Rooms are dated but clean. However, there was painting going on in the hallway during my stay and the smell of paint filled our room. The first afternoon, I came out of the shower and there was a knock at the door. Before I could... More

Firstly thank you for your kind comments on the hotel. I know the fumes from the redecoration are noticeable currently, but they will soon be completed allowing us to air the property. It will be fantastic to have a completely refurbished hotel, we are all very excited about the completion. I was however very disturbed to hear of your experience... More

Very poor service at check in: we werre given the wrong rooms after being specific on booking and the rectification of their mistake was slow; they also queried payment when it had been made in advance. Beware the 'discretionary ' service charges automatically on the bill; I ended up paying this for poor bar service when, had I seen the small... More

Visited Lincoln for a birthday surprise and stayed at Brayford Wharf, Lincoln. Really pleased with the choice of hotel. Situated at Brayford Wharf, it was a little confusing to reach the hotel as the street sign states 'Pedestrian Access' however ignore that and you'll reach the hotel car park. The location is lovely & swans a plenty (so don't forget... More
