The location of the hotel cannot be faulted in the uphill part of the city close to the castle and cathedral. There are eating places all around from Thai , Indian, Mexican, Italian and traditional English all within a five minute stroll. We have stayed at this hotel in the past and are aware that rooms within the hotel can... more

I stayed here with a colleague for one night in May 2009. At £120 for a twin room it was definately overpriced. Our room was very hot and dated with cheap beds, mattresses and decor. The corridors were in need of painting and updated furniture and decor if they are to continue to market this hotel under a 'boutique' billing.... more

We stayed for three nights over the Easter weekend 2009. Great location just yards from the castle and cathedral and with loads of parking. The lobby is really smart and clearly has been done up recently. The staff were very friendly and helpful, although we didn't really need anything during our stay. The room (on the 3rd floor) we stayed... more

Superbly located at the top of the hill, a minute away from the Cathedral and from the castle. We stayed three nights at £99 p.n. for a double room B & B. Ample safe car parking is available. On arrival we gratefully accepted the offer of having our luggage carried to our room but then sat around waiting for it... more

This hotel is fabulously located right in the centre of Lincoln and is very well placed if you're visiting the city for leisure / tourism. I found the staff in the hotel to be fine. Service wasn't outstanding but it was pleasant enough. Reception is slightly odd as it doesn't appear to be staffed all the time for some reason... more

We booked a room for New Years Eve and also the New Years Eve dinner, We were asked if we would like to shae a table with strangers in the 'party room' or to have a table for 2 in the dining room. We chose table for 2. We might as well have booked to share in the partyroom as... more

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this centrally located old hotel, though the reception area deceives slightly as its quite modern and new, but the upstairs area certainly is in need of a makeover. We were originally given room 272 in the old section of the hotel. The journey to the room was through what seemed like endless... more

We've stayed many times at the White Hart & I have to say it's not my favourite hote in the world, but it's o.k. We usually have a suite, but even these can vary in quality because of the age of the building to some extent. Windows don't close properly in all of the rooms for example & there may... more

Lovely Hotel, ideal situation, wonderful shops nearby. Cathederal and Castle awesome. I suggest you take the guided tour in the cathederal, its free and the gentleman that takes it is very knowledgeable, in fact he has just completed a book on the history of the architecture of the building. As I said the hotel was lovely, staff in hotel wonderful... more
