My husband and I stayed here in August 2014. I booked the room at the last minute without seeing any photos which made me quite nervous but the room and guest house was really lovely. Our room was elegant, comfortable and decorated to a high standard. A real calm, boutique feel. The owner was very welcoming and is really knowledgeable... More

In July 2014 i was here for a week. i was alone but i felt at home. I founded this accommodation on web and now i can say that it exceeded all my expectations. This is really an excellent place. I think it's the best one for a trip of business or for an holiday. It's near the Lincoln centre... More

Stayed here October 2013 and didn't know what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised. Returned again July 2014 to find it extended although not yet finished it's going to be Tardis like. The breakfasts are fab with locally sourced bacon, sausages, eggs etc, people running it are friendly and prices are competitive, rooms are lovely and clean. It's so... More

Like many hotels and guest houses in city centres, especially ancient cities like Lincoln, parking can be an issue. We do have some parking for our customers on site but we also provide overnight parking... More

This is an excellent place to stay within a stone's throw of the historic district of Lincoln. We booked two family rooms for 6 of us. They were of a good size with en suite facilities. Tastefully decorated. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds. The place is in the throws of major building work and doesn't have a full kitchen so they... More

Landed in Lincoln late afternoon on a Saturday just before Xmas. Found the Newport on a brochure from the Tourist Information. Phoned and was told they had just a tiny room but we could have a look before we decided to book. Although the room was tiny it was spotlessly clean with an ensuite bathroom. Bit on the warm side... Recently stopped here on a quick trip to Lincoln and very much enjoyed our one night stop. The guest house is easy to find beinv only one road off the ring road and is ideally situated close to the castle and cathedral area which has a great range of bars and restaurants. Would advise anybody looking for a cheap centrality... More

Since we were arriving on a Sunday night we were given a door code and told the keys would be waiting for us in the common area, which seemed a bit sketchy. However, nothing could have been smoother. We arrived, found a parking space in back, used the code and got our keys exactly as promised. The room was large... More

We stayed at the Newport for one night recently to break up our journey from Manchester to Norfolk. On arrival, we were welcomed and shown to our room. The room was lovely, very well equipped and nicely decorated. The bathroom was spacious, modern and the whole room was very, very clean. When we asked about the possibility of heating up... More
