We spent 2 nights at the Stables B&B in late November 2009. The main reason we chose is it was the location as it is perfect situated for exploring the historical areas of uphill Lincoln. The private off road parking was also very useful. We were in bedroom 3, which is a double en-suite room with views of the cathedral.... more

We stayed 2 nights at the B & B. From the outset the service was very good. It is difficult to find but no problem for "Tom Tom". The rooms are small but we did not spend too much time there so it wasn't an issue. Although very important, if you wanted to go back to your room during the... more

We would thoroughly recommend The Stables as a wonderful little B&B. It's clean comfortable, the breakfasts are yummy and the location is so convenient for exploring Lincoln. more

Stayedat Stables B&B for 3 nights in June 09 Highly recommend. Very clean, quiet location off the main roads, nice décor, lovely breakfasts cooked to order in front of you as open kitchen is part of breakfast room. Very helpful hosts. Purpose built for B&B in separate building to host family, who live just across the courtyard so you never... more

We really loved this B and B. The breakfasts were amazing, and cooked in front of you in a very clever layout kitchen/diner. Our hosts were helpful and friendly, and the B and B was great value The rooms were great, and I loved little touches like chocaltes on the pillow, and also exciting chocolate biscuits every day. Not critical,... more

We came back from a tour that included just one nights stop at the Stables, thinking we would write a 'rave' review of it. But this has already been done by others, so we can only endorse what has previously been written. All we can add is that of particular benefit to us, touring with an 'attractive' classic car, was... more

This is such a gem of an establishment. The location is ideal for exploring Lincoln on foot. Accommodation is spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. It was freshly cooked in front of us whilst we drank fresh fruit juice. The ingredients were locally sourced, and of of good quality. The homemade bread and preserves were much... more

I found this excellent b&b about twelve months ago, and what a find, its in an "up hill" location just a short walk into the City walls, the stables is a very simpathetic conversion with excellent facilities, with all rooms en suite. More like a boutique hotel. in a word a very nice family run B&B , I'll be back...... more

First time I stayed was a business trip. I had not been able to get into my usual B&B at late notice and had Stables B&B recomended to me as an alternative. What a bit of luck! Stables is located down one of the side streets of Rasen Lane. Once you pull into the courtyard and the the gates are closed... more

I recently stayed at the Stables with a friend. It was beautifully clean and comfortable: everything was brand new and sparkling. I had the ground floor single ensuite room, my friend a double room on the first floor. The accommodation is across the courtyard from the owners' house, so it is very private. It was very quiet at night, so... more
