The only gripe I have about the Old Rectory was that there was nobody in to let me in when I arrived at 4pm, which did put me behind with my time quite a bit, and I did have somewhere to be by 7pm that night. But the room was wam and cosy - an essential for December - and... more

Awful B&B, Avoid if at all possible, location is good but in all other respects shabby and disappointing. Breakfast was ok. Staff did their best, but this place needs a long soak in a bucket of soapy water. more

My Dad booked this B&B for me last minute, as I had travelled from Australia to Lincoln to surprise my Mum for her 60th birthday! I know Lincoln rather well but have no idea to the standard of the accommodation... This B&B is in an amazing location. Easily accessible from the by-pass and from the city centre with a large... more

We booked this hotel because of the location and a couple of days before we were due to go I read Trip Adviser and was horrified to read the comments left by previous guests. I have to admit I was not looking forward to staying there. I have now learned to ignore other peoples comments. I stayed for one evening.... more

We were attending a function in Lincoln and due to locality this b & b seemed perfect. On arrival we found our booking had been mixed up, they had got our name incorrect and had given us only one double ensuite room when we had booked two ensuites a double and a single - Whe enquiring about this i was... more

Our room was massive with high ceilings and a big window (onto the car park) and was almost like a 'suite' as we had a little private hallway inbetween our room and bathroom. There was nothing overly wrong with our room and we had a great time there, but don't choose this b&b if you are looking for a fresh... more

This looks like such a great place on the outside, but hideous inside. No-one was in when we arrived, reading other reviews this seems to be a running theme. The room was small, dated and had clearly had some sort of stain on the ceiling that had been badly painted over. The bed was AWFUL, we barely slept. The mattress... more

We booked this place for 2 nights fri & sat, as the location was really central and looked ok on the website.and was reasonable price, but as the saying goes you get what you pay for. firstly we called the place the day before to confirm and they thought we were coming for just one night not 2, although we... more

The location of this B&B is great, being close to the old part of Lincoln. The building itself is dated. I decided to take a single room without bathroom in an effort to save myself some money. I wish I’d paid the extra. The room was on the 2nd floor with the bathroom on the next floor down and a... more

We never got to stay here, as just 24 hours before we were due to arrive we received a phone call telling us that there had been a mix up with bookings and they could not accomodate us. This being a bank holiday weekend!!! To be fair, they had phoned around and found us alternative accommodation. Although the alternative was... more
