Cannot knock the value of this hotel or the cheerful staff so If I rated purely on this they'd get a 5 as it is cheap, clean and friendly. We needed a place to stop for the night on a trip to York and booked this Days Inn on the basis of other reviews on TripAdvisor and I'm glad we did. Stayed here for a week on business and booked one of their larger executive rooms for £54 a night. These rooms offer a larger work desk, trouser press, iron and a mini fridge - although mine didn't work and they were unable to repair or replace it. WE stayed at the Days Inn overnight on a long haul car trip and it provided exactly wha we needed. A clean, secure place to crash. Staff were helpful. The room was spacious enough and the facilities were immaculate. Other plus? great price! more

I wasn't sure what to expect..and was pleasantly surprised... The staff were helpful, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. A bar would have been goo dbut there is one less than 5 minutes away out of the Services area. Also consider the Innkeepers Lodge and the Travelodge that are v close and with less noise. more
