Have not stayed in a Campanile for a few years now but this was a marked improvement. The bed is much more comfortable than I can recall, extra pillows required and easy to obtain. Food was good, really good evening menu at good prices and very well presented indeed. Staff very helpful, tres bon. Very much appreciated the cost reduction... More

It's been a long time since I stopped in a Campanile and I was a little dubious about to to say the least, but rest easy visitors, this one gives you everything you would expect from all the big named brands and more. Slap bang in the middle of the city, plenty of parking, friendly reception, lovely clean rooms with... More

As a hotel close to city centre amenities this place does what you would expect. Rooms are dull yet functional and the restaurant does both a cheap continental breakfast and an expensive full English. You get a bed, a tv, a kettle and towels. The bar is a bit pokey, but staffed by young vibrant barmaids eager to please. The... More

I was greated by a very pleasant and organise Receptionist. She made checking in a pleasure. The room on the other hand was small/cramped and the decor was tired. In addition the heating even with the window open was unbearable. The toilet seat was also loose and slipped sideways. The shower grouting was in need of treatment for mould and... More

Nice welcome from reception, good breakfast. It was an inexpensive stay and the room was a bit too warm even though I had the window open, and could hear people talking and smoking outside. The cooked breakfast was good.

One night stay for a business trip. Very welcoming reception, room fine for one night stay, everything required and clean. Room was very hot though and had to leave the window open and was woken up by people smoking outside at 2.00 a.m.. I paid an extra 8.95 for breakfast which was very expensive even though it was eat as... More

We stayed at the Campanile for Divali last weekend. The hotel was clean though our room had an extra bed in it which made it extremely cramped for space, so much so that it wad difficult to open and close the curtains and impossible to sit on the chair at the table. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as... More

I have recently had the displeasure of staying at this hotel and I have to say I was disgusted as was my guest. Do not believe the website pictures as the room or hotel was nothing like it. The room was tiny and very very dirty the carpet looked like it had not been cleaned in months so much so... More

Hairs in the shower plug were not welcomed, as well as the "sandpaper" toilet roll. The mattress had little support and only three pillows for a double bed and two guests. The ceiling was also stained and was quite an eyesore. Only one plug socket in the room was quite an inconvenience! Staff were friendly and when needed.

We booked into this city centrally located hotel to attend a party nearby. As I said it was fit for purpose, and not too expensive . The room was a bit crowded as they had a sofa bed in there also. The shower was good, but the bathroom could have done with a lick of paint and the extractors cleaning... More
