Was in Leicester for business, one night stay. Enjoyed the breakfast thoroughly, great portion and wonderfully cooked traditional British breakfast, including black pudding. Room was ok and functional, shower was awesome and hot (was there in Winter) wifi worked sporadically, but over all a nice dainty stay. Great parking if your driving and good access. Staff were helpful, the bell...

I stayed for one night for business and was booked in by my company. It was easy to find and is on a smart road in Leciester that felt very safe. I liked: free ample pleasant staff, nice good quality toiletries, quiet bedroom. I asked if I could have a room with a bath and the receptionist made an effort...

Better than staying at a homogenous boring hotel, the (slightly faded but well presented) charm of this place won us both over. Very convenient for the purpose of our stay. Slightly old fashioned but very friendly, lovely breakfast and a lovely conservatory reception room. Would recommend. Room clean and silent at night.
I recently stayed at the Regency for 1 night. I asked for a room with a bath rather than a shower & the staff obliged. I stayed in Room 6. It had 1 double bed & 1 single bed. The room was a fair size - not too pokey. The bathroom needs updating as it was very tired looking. there...

Stayed for 3 nights at the Hotel with my sister in law whilst my husband was in hospital. The hotel has new owners and they and their staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Everywhere was very clean and tidy. The food and room was very good. The hotel does need updating which the new owners have started to...

Christmas meal, same menu as last year completely lacking imagination. Typical Brakes Bros meal, very little if any homemade even the mince pies were bought in. Vegetables were served cold, left the table still hungry.
We stayed at the Regency for two nights as we needed a hotel close to family. Knowing that we were going to arrive late (near midnight) I called ahead to check if this would be OK and was told that reception was open 24 hours.
Our room was on the top floor. It was incredibly warm, partially due to the...

We booked our wedding at the Regency Hotel so stayed in the hotel for 1 night in the wedding suite. It was a great location for a family wedding and from the start of planning the wedding Ellen the manager/wedding planner made us feel welcome and relaxed that all would go to plan, and it did. The day was just...

Myself & my partner stayed at this hotel for one night only & paid £55. We had a double en suite room which was a reasonable size-we didn't feel smothered! Tea & coffee facilities available, and breakfast was also included in the price. As far as we could see, the room was clean, but like I said, it is a...
