Not the most exciting hotel in the world, but does what it says on the tin. For £38 + £20 charge for the dog, we were very pleased to have a room for two adults and two children, given that the snow was coming down hard. Not much in the way of catering - there's a Spar in the BP... More

Without doubt, the hotel is very much in need of refurbishment. However, this is clearly stated on the Travelodge website, so guests are not going to be misled if they read the information. We stayed for just one night on a visit to Leicester to attend a funeral. The room was perfectly comfortable, particularly the excellent bed. It only cost... More

Scruffy run down hotel needs redecorating urgently. New bed was very comfortable as advertised. Bathroom scruffy. Room very cold on arrival . staff friendly on arrival. No lift . Towels very poor and threadbare.

Long overdue it's refurbishment. Rooms outdated, furniture worn.Very difficult to find in the dark - Illuminated sign not working and its entrance driveway resembles a small track that appears to lead to nowhere . When I finally arrived at 10pm the entrance door was locked and I rang the bell. No response. I rang it repeatedly but had to wait... More

This hotel was very disappointing. After a 4am.start, a 200 mile drive and a full day, what I needed most was to drive to the hotel and crash out. But its poor location and lack of ANY signage meant it took an hour to find even with printed directions AND Sat nav. Staff on reception were very nice and helpful.... More

This hotel is a little old and some would say it needs to be refurbished. But it is well maintained and well managed and was very cheap indeed. It provided a really good value overnight stay. I would have paid twice as much for a more modernised chain hotel and would not have got anything I value for the extra... More

We have stayed here before so as it was cheap and convenient opted to stay again. We were very disappointed the restaurant next to the TL had closed down. There is no where to ear or drink anywhere near this TL Finding our way back from Loughborough the nearest town in the evening was very difficult. The corridor our room... More

Stayed in this hotel for a one night stay last weekend. I have often stayed in Travelodge all over the country, but I have never seen anything like this one. First of all it was very difficult to find as it is tucked behind a petrol station in the middle of nowhere, but when we did find it we wished... More

I was very impressed with the customer service we received from the receptionist, very polite a welcoming! she even moved our friends closer to us. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Only problem we had was the postcode took us in like a housing estate not to where the travel lodge actually was! best to follow the signs not... More

Stayed one night in this hotel on business, very conveniently located near the M 1 motorway and 10 minutes to Leicester city center. If booked in advance it is very affordable, it is not a Hilton or Sheraton but has all the requirements for a quiet night stay. The reception staff was very friendly and there is plenty of parking...
