Stayed one night in this hotel on business, very conveniently located near the M 1 motorway and 10 minutes to Leicester city center. If booked in advance it is very affordable, it is not a Hilton or Sheraton but has all the requirements for a quiet night stay. The reception staff was very friendly and there is plenty of parking... This really isn't what I expected at all, the reviews on here really do give off mixed messages and is not what I experienced at all. Firstly, the welcome I received was second to none. Nichola was absolutely great, she did chew my ear off a bit but her customer service skills were good. When getting to the room, it... More

No facilities nearby. The Bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom was most unpleasant. In dire need of refurbishment or demolition. Bordering on a doss house. I won't under any circumstances stay again.

I use Travelodge hotels extensively during the year when I work away from home. This one where I am staying is the worst I have experienced. It looks very tired and unloved. It needs a damn good clean, decorating and new furnishings. The net curtains in my room look like a cat has jumped to the top of them, dug... More

hard to find. signage hard to spot. Large car park so plenty of room to park. Staff very pleasent and helpful. Rooms clean but our one had a musty smell coming from bathroom. Bed comfortable and very clean. as a whole hotel needs some updating and renavation but otherwise clean and pleasent

What a dump. My husband and I had booked to stay in the Leciester Town Centre Travel Lodge on Friday 22nd August 2014. We were travelling up to Leciester and on route got a phone call to say that the travel lodge had been "over booked" and that they had moved us out to Markfield. As they agreed to fund... More

I personally wouldn't book this particular hotel gain - I only did it in the first place because of the location. The hotel and the grounds are very unkempt - I thought I saw tumble weed at one point - it looked deserted. The place looks very tired and needs to be demolished and rebuilt. Our room was not clean... More

We drove round the roundabout twice trying to find the way in, there was no sinage that we could see behind walls of weeds and brambles, apparently the services part had been closed down but it looked like it was all shut, the carpark as we drove in was covered in rubbish and if it hadn't been for the fact... The hotel room was reasonably priced but the outside area needs to be improved as the services have shut down and are obviously not looked after. The hotel looks like it could do with re-decorating and the rooms updating. The double bed was very uncomfortable and gave me a bad back! Generally the room was clean and was fine for... More
