I stayed at this hotel for one night. My room was of an average size. My colleagues have been given different rooms (some singles, some doubles), even though we all paid the same rate. My room was ensuite and unfortunately wasn't too clean. There was a long hair on one of the pillows and some pubic hair on the floor... more

My two night stay in a double bedroom at the back of the hotel was quiet even with an evening function. Theevening meal was included in the price, as was breakfast. Both were good quality and the staff were friendly. The hotel had atmosphere and although parts are a little outdated (carpets!) really couldn't fault the service or room for... more

We stayed at the Ramada Leicester for 3 nights for a long weekend in Leicester, as my friend was getting married nearby. We chose the hotel mainly for its central location, which is perfect for accessing the city's pubs, shops and restaurants. As there wasn't a huge price difference we decided to treat ourselves to an "executive double" room, but... more

Excellent central location, all amenities within reasonable walking distance. Broad choice for breakfast - full works of a fry, cereals, fruit, juices, tea etc. Eat as much as you want so was a great start to the day! Rooms were small in terms of free space to move around. Decor was somewhat old-fashioned and looked grubby although my room was... more

We stayed here last night and we were very disappointed. The room itself was very dated and the sink was cracked and sheets had holes in. The shower had low pressure and not what you would expect from a three star hotel and the toilet flushed (occasionally). The heating did not appear to work in our room and so before... more

We stayed here as part of a group for a friends wedding and were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Rooms were clean, available on time (despite the early wedding start!) and very comfortable. The large, grand, old england style dining room was perfect for the reception and had plenty of space for some dancing. The charming, round staircase upto the... more

We booked a double room for one night at the Ramada Leicester as it was the closest hotel to where we were attending a friend's birthday party (about 2 minutes' walk away!) We got a pretty good deal as we booked a couple of weeks in advance so got a double room for £51 B&B. I had been a bit... more

Stayed here on business for 3 days. It would seem the single rooms are either huge or tiny. Mine had a single bed (do they still do single beds in hotels?) and the lighting was dim - very yellowish. The whole place is in bad need of a makeover, what with its tired "pub carpets" and mahogany trims - it... more

The corridors in this hotel are like a labyrinth and it is easy to get lost. The rooms are inadequate and you can actually hear other residents moving and talking in the rooms above and below you. (Old floorboard type hotel) If you are unfortunate you may get a room at the front of the hotel, and the double glazing... more

My boyfriend and I were attending a wedding nearby and I booked the Ramada as it had some decent reviews and seemed preferable to a twin room over a local pub. Disappointing. Although our room was clean, modern, comfy - possibly recently decorated - the rest of the hotel resembled the hotel in The Shining. Dark corridors, dusty and dated... more
