Location was good; everything in walking distance. The bathroom however.... wouldn't want to look too close... But all in all OK for 2 nights. more

As a background, I like Ibis hotels. I have used them when work are paying and also when paying myself. However the Leicester hotel and its staff are a disgrace to the brand. Parking Extremely limited. Most likely you will have to park elsewhere Station The noise from the tannoy announcements is that bad that they try to use only... more

My first time at the Ibis Hotel, Leicester, staying on business for 2 nights – Room 109, facing the train station and platforms. Arriving by train at Leicester, the hotel is conveniently just three minutes walk away and easily seen as a landmark. Others have commented upon the train station announcements that can be heard from the hotel. I loved... more

Initially I liked the Ibis. It was easy to find and looked well kept from the outside. The room has sufficient space and the interior is pretty much the same as in every other Ibis. Arriving rather late I went to bed straightaway as I was planning to get up early for a conference in Leicester. I did wake up... more

In my mind, the name IBIS is associated with simplicity and comfort and at the same time, lack of luxury. IBIS hotel at Leicester is no exception: my room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was OK (though a bit plain). The hotel is situated near the train station (< 5 min walk) and close to the... more

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, found the staff friendly, room clean, nice & quiet and no problem getting a car parking space even though I didn't arrive until 8 o'clock on the night. Reception clean & comfortable with tables & chairs, and coffee tables & sofas, also had pay as you go internet. On the 2nd night we... more

The car park was full when we arrived but they directed us to the train station one, just at the back of the hotel. The staff was extra hepfull and the rooms were not bad at all for a couple of days stay. Our bed was a king size bed. My sister took a twin room because she was sharing with... more

My boyfriend and I have stayed here 3 or 4 times now. It's affordable and is in walking distance of the shops and the train station. True, the train announcements can be heard sometimes but neither that or the busy road next to the hotel really disturbed us. The room itself is small with a double bed, TV(that comes with... more

My wife and I stayed at the Ibis Leicester two nights in October. The location was great - short walk from the train station. Check in is up a flight of stairs. Nice modern look to the hotel. The room - small. Interesting bathroom - it was a quarter circle shape - did manage to make the room seem larger.... more

We got here fairly late in the evening in mid-January but there were still plenty of car parking spaces. Check in is located one floor up from the ground so you need to take the lift. The hotel is not exactly in the centre of town and we couldn't be bothered walking as it was raining so decided to eat... more
