Does exactly what it says on the tin. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of my room. I stayed for 3 nights and every day I returned, the room was spotless and everything had been replenished. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes from the city centre. Friday morning (5.30am to be... More

Clean, friendly, excellent, good value for money. Very close to city centre and railway station. Computer availability in the reception area and blow dryer in the rooms. Away from the huzzle and buzzle of the restaurants and bars, but some noise from the traffic outside.

My partner came for a one night business trip and was very disappointed in the hotel. The check in was quick but the room was very basic although couldn't fault the cleanliness. The hotel is not situated in a great place, it's in the middle of one of the busiest roads in Leicester and was woken early by the cars.... More

I'm sorry for the 2 star rating, I really wanted to like this hotel, but my first thought was 'if the standard Ibis is like this, what the Hell is the budget one like - a cardboard box?!' I stayed for 2 nights. To check in you go to the reception which is an extension to the bar. So the... More

This hotel is pretty nice and convenient. good location, 5 minutes from ancient train station and from university. The room was clean and the service is good. they also have free parking and a privet air conditioner inside the room. To conclude, it's a very good value for money.

I stayed 3 nights. You get what you pay for. It's quite small, so watch out for lots of luggage. but when I checked in back in June 2012 it was clean, staff was nice. The lobby was actually quite nice for about £30.00 a night!! I wanted to extend my stay and the front desk told me to book... More

Pros: close to the railway station (and thus the city centre). Cons: the bed is not firm enough -- it does not support the back well, which gives me lower back pain in the morning. Wifi is very slow, with difficulty opening facebook.

Basic hotelI ideal for short stay or One night. Personally found menu for dinner was limited so you wouldn't want to stay longer if you want to eat in. hotel near train station, curve Theatre and Y theatre oldest in town. Rooms clean fairly quiet and comfortable bed.
