We stayed in the stage twice this year, once in November, and once in December over the christmas period. It is a dated hotel, but the rooms were extremely clean, and staff friendly. Very comfy beds, clean bathrooms, and a nice breakfast in the mornings. Excellent value, would stay again.

As a disabled traveller. I would rate the accessibility rooms in this hotel is possibly the worst I have ever stayed. The only good thing about this hotel is its staff. The hotel is dated and the rooms badly need a makeover.

Friendly staff and reasonably clean room are the positive comments. Poor sound insulation in the rooms meant I was kept awake by the TV next door and the conversations between a group of lads. The room was worn. Loose tap in the bathroom sink. A shower that made a horrendous vibrating noise if turned up full. Bathroom sealant applied badly... More

Hotel out of the center, seems to be established for short stayings, not comparable to big Hotels in the Center of capitals. Choice was done to be close to the company visited, employees are very nice and helpful.

Having read previous reviews I was a bit dubious about the Hotel but was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, nicely decorated, had everything you could need all of which worked. The food was very nice and well served . There was a very good selection of usual breakfast items on the buffet but anything you wanted that wasn't supplied... More

Really? You cannot be serious. Stepped back into a 70s time warp. Staff are ok, but the whole place is in desperate need of a revamp. Dining room and bar comedy value, menu dated, waited an hour just for a poor fish and chips, telly blaring out competing with bloke watching football on his i- pad full blast. Best option... More

Just had a one nights stay at this hotel and I'm glad it was only one night! Booked with a local coach company for a mystery Xmas party and arrived here late Saturday afternoon. We were swiftly checked in and told where our rooms were. We were on the ground floor. The room was awful. Dark and dismal. Some of... More

stayed for two nights to visit friends. External facade is not inviting, looks Like a swimming pool. Rooms are tired, internal door lock didn't work so could be secured. Mattress was well worn, my wife and I were rolling into the centre. In the reception area no one tidying up, bear bottles on tables, crisps packets, etc. Breakfast day 1;... More

Upon using this hotel as a stop gap on my way back from lancashire to London, I thought good connections to Leicester and a Best Western of course. I thought what could go wrong. The hotel is very poorly laid out, and the bedrooms were very out of date. They are need of paint, the beds need replacing and the... More

The hotel staff are attentive and well mannered - no problem there. But the room I stayed in was dated which means overall the stay was average. With a facelift it could be a great place to stay if you visit Leicester.
