The Hilton is a brand that we've followed for many years, collecting many Honors points across the UK and the US. But we've noticed a major difference between the UK and America. Stayed whilst on business for a total of three months so have a good insight into's its pro's and cons. For me its biggest asset is its staff who i have always found to be warm, friendly and extremely helpful. I'd have no hesitation in employing the majority of them myself. We stayed here in May 2007 and had a great time. It's a good base to visit Stratford-Upon-Avon (Shakespeare's town) and the National Space Centre in Leicester IF you have a car. As a business traveller it consistently surprises me that a chain such as the Hilton think it acceptable to charge such high rates for tired, unclean rooms. I stayed 1 night on business and my overall experience was a pleasant one. My room had a nice outlook onto a landscaped courtyard complete with fountain, hedges and tables and chairs.
