My wife and I were booked in here twice for a few nights stay each, whilst we visited family. The first stay, we had a standard room on one of the extensions, which was ok. The room was quite airy and had everything you would expect from a hotel. TV, tea facilities, ironing board etc etc. I was disappointed however,... More

Several wedding guests stayed here on 12th July. You could only describe this hotel as basic. One of our party is COPD and needed either a ground floor room or a lift to the first floor. No lift and no rooms available on the first floor. The web sit should make it very clear that there is no lift. The... More

I stayed here with work, a bargain price of £47 for a twin. Overall a comfortable decent place to stay, plenty of parking, big room, comfy beds, and a decent shower. I didn't use the bar or restaurant as it was a two minute walk to the town which had a good choice of pubs and an Indian restaurant. The continental... More

I booked a single room, rung to confirm my booking the day of arrival only to be told I'd booked a double. I tried to tell the woman (whom I now know to be the manager) there must be a mistake she argued with me, told me that her staff would not have made that mistake then told me I... More

This hotel was booked for me for a business trip. Wasn't sure what to expect with reading mixed reviews. Arrived at 22:30, staff were polite and helpful even at this hour. I had a double room at the rear of the hotel, décor was good, carpets a little threadbare but nothing else to fault. Breakfast was included and my full... More

We have stayed here 3 times but never again, the rooms were very clean but the hot water tap in the bathroom would not deliver any hot water, when we went down to reception the receptionist was outside smoking, she did change our room without any fuss. I understood breakfast was included but apparently not as there is another charge on... More

I stayed here between Fri-Sun on business travel. The blaby seems to be a hotel that has struck on hard times, and for the owners in this regard I feel bad. The staff seemed pleasant and there was always somebody around reception. But the hotel itself was awful, and reminiscent of a hostel or budget lodgings. Cleanliness was spot on... More

I stayed at the Blaby with friends and family and we all had a perfect stay. The room that I was given was a great size and had a sitting area. The Bed was soooo comfy that I had to be woken up the next morning. The Hotel was very, very clean - all the facilities, bathroom and toilet, were... More

I booked the bosworth room for my wifes 60th birthday celebration the hotel provided a buffet and disco.I can only say we had a brilliant time Richard, the manager, and his team really did us proud. The night went without a hitch, the buffet was excellent, far more than we expected. The staff worked hard to make sure everything was ok, nothing... PLEASE read whole review. I booked into an executive room for comfort, but also requested ground floor.I was given a HUGE family room rather than a designated executive room (room 31) This is a great room for families as it has two extra large single beds as well as the main one. The bathroom was cavernous with a bidet and... More
