Looked for somewhere for a weekend whilst visiting friends, after researching this place seemed ideal. And it was. Comfortable, clean and friendly, ask and nothing is too much trouble, - think porridge may now be added to breakfast menu. The homemade marmalade is beautiful. Good for visiting places around city centre, golden mile and outskirts. Very quiet cul-de-sac. On the... More

Thank you for the kind comments, we think you may be right and the porridge will be making a re-appearance on the menu, our grand-daughter also loves it. We were pleased you also enjoyed our marmalade, hope you both had a pleasant journey home, and we may see you again if in the area. Thank you once again, Kerry &... More

I stayed here for one night after a family wedding. It was like having a house to yourself. Very relaxed with absolutely lovely hosts who could not do enough for you. Breakfast was very good. I will definitely go back again.

No complaints. It's a quiet B&B with everything you'd expect. I was only there for one night but if you're there for longer they have a kitchen and living for use by the guests which is very handy. Overall good value and I'd have no problem returning when back in the area.

Never thought I would stay in a b&b in Thurmaston, but this was very nice. We only stayed for one night while attending family wedding, it was clean, the beds were comfortable and it was nice to be able to sit in a comfortable homely lounge. The breakfast was excellent, and the owners very friendly. I would certainly recommend it.

I spent two weeks at the Aaron lodge while working in the area and stayed in the family room on the second floor. The room was very comfortable and Pete and Kerry were great hosts, both welcoming and genuinely happy to help wherever they can. With shops and 24hr asda just a few minutes drive away, the location of the... More

We are pleased you were able to make good use of the kitchen facilities. We have always tried to provide what we ourselves would be looking for in a B & B. So it's pleasing to read that you were able to make yourself at home and enjoy the facilities we have to offer. Thank you for your kind review.... More

We have just returned from a night's stay here with a group of friends. The lodge is very welcoming and homely and we had the complete run of the house which includes a spacious kitchen and comfortable lounge. You are free to use the kitchen to make snacks and drinks with coffee, tea and milk provided. The double bedroom was... More

Tucked away in a little cul-de-sac this guest house provides a warm welcome and peaceful surroundings. The owners live in another house in the cul-de-sac, so basically the place is a little home from home. The homemade marmalade on the breakfast table is not to be missed!

Thank you for your kind comments, they are much appreciated, I shall certainly keep urging Dad to continue with his Marmalade making, it seems to be quite popular, so pleased to read that you also enjoyed it. We do hope to see you again, when you are back in this area. Best wishes Kerry & Pete. More
