My boyfriend and I stayed here over the May Bank Holiday. We had a thoroughly pleasant stay and found the owners very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy with a comfy bed and decent pressured shower. The cooked breakfasts in the mornings were excellent. The B&B is well positioned and slightly away from the centre avoiding the... More

We stayed at The Pool on 27th/28th July. We received a text message in the morning from the pool asking when to expect us, nice touch. We got there about 2:30 (bit earlier than we said) but this wasn't a problem. Liv greeted us, and showed us to our deluxe room. Nicely decorated, with large tv and iPod Dock and... More

The Pool B and B is a mid range accommodation on the North side of Blackpool. It is still being renovated but the room we stayed in was perfectly adequate for the two nights we were there. It was clean and well appointed with tea/coffee and biscuits available The owners were very pleasant and helpful in their suggestions as to... More

Thankyou for you review, we are sorry you found your stay with us average. We are more suited for younger couples as you can see from our reviews. We have never had any complaints about our breakfasts in fact quite the opposite! Sorry about the poached eggs, but our menu is on our website for you to see along with... More

I stayed at the pool B&B a couple of weeks ago, my mum who I went with has already written a review but just wanted to clarify as it seems you may have missed the point. As she said overall we enjoyed our stay and were pleased with the standard of accommodation. We obviously were not expecting washing up facilities... More

We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us but the teacups and toilet roll issues do not warrant an average review, I'm sure you will agree. Your mum states in her review that.... there is nowhere to wash the cups properly and no teatowel. There is a sink with hot running water, is this not adequate enough for you... More

Lovely warm welcome, snazzy modern design, ideal location for the pier strip without all the hustle and bustle. Delicious range of breakfast, nothing was too much for the wonderful owners Caz & Liv, recommending places to visit, eat, etc. Wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting in Blackpool again!

Had a nice stay, room lovely, breakfast good, would have liked cups in room to be replaced daily as nowhere to wash them properly and no teatowel. Also toilet roll replacing when gone. Would definetly recommend as a good value.

Thank you for your comments, we are glad you enjoyed your stay. We would however like to point out that we are a Bed and Breakfast and not a Self Catering establishment. With regards to the cleaning of your cups I am afraid you will find that us aswell as other Bed and Breakfasts do not provide you with washing... More
