If this hotel was a Premier League football club, it would undoubtedly be Everton. It does have the potential to excel under the correct management, but is clearly failing in key areas, and will always live in the shadow of its vastly superior local rival down the road, which in this case is The Alexandra Hotel, which infamously closed down... The owner was kind and helpful. I have a knee injury, and got moved from the top floor to the first floor, without even asking. This made access to my room a lot easier. I am vegetarian, which I informed on the booking notes, so when it was time for breakfast. The veggy sausages where cooked specially for me and... More

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We had a lovely big comfy room and the breakfast was excellent. Cooked to perfection with decent coffee and plenty of choice. Central location with off road parking. Owner was pleasant helpful and cheerful. What more could be asked for? Definitely one I would recommend.

Free wi-fi is available (you just need to ask for the password). Breakfast was cereal, toast & a full english. It was very appetising & the experience was very pleasant due... More
