Hotel was disappointing but the staff made up for it. Decor was dated and in serious need of a lick of paint. Food was usual cuisine which you could expect in a Blackpool hotel. All in all the place was a usual standard of building but staff made it a worth while visit. Thank you David the barman in the... more

I stayed in this hotel for 5 days and have nothing but praise for the hotel and the staff, especially David the barman who could not have been nicer. Sue and the rest of the staff were obilging and kind at all times. Some parts of the hotel need a bit of love and care with a paint brush here... more

Went to the Boston with my Mu, Step Dad and my best friend for a long weekend in January. Yes the decor does need upgrading but other than this I could find no faults. You get what u pay for. The aged decor and furnishings adds to the character of the place. Our room was the perfect size for us,... more

Have stayed at other Blackpool Promotions hotels and thought we would give this one a go. The hotel looks in need of repair as soon as you arrive with paint peeling off and worn carpets etc. The bedrooms are falling to pieces with the furniture broken and out of date bathrooms. Most of the people who were there at the... more

I stayed at this hotel with my friend and her husband and could not find fault with anything the four days we stayed there. the food was good and the dining staff were very obliging and would give you an alternative meal if the menu didn't suit. service was very prompt and polite. My single room had a seaview and... more

My wife and I booked with Blackpool Promotions in Spring 2008 when we stayed at the Royal Seabank. It was basic but o.k. We tried for the same hotel this year to find it fully booked but were offered the Boston as an alternative. We found the rooms smallish and very basic with the bathroom needing a good makeover. The... more

Room too small and dark. Bathroom filthy with shower curtain hanging off rail and shower not working properly. Packets of cigarettes left in room went missing. Food was edible just. I would not recommend this hotel to a dog. more

Stayed in this hotel in Oct 07 with my boyfriend (both early 20s) and although it was targeted at the older market we thoroughly enjoyed it. Room spacious and clean. Food was basic but nice and entertainment really made it. Trams very frequent so can get anywhere pretty quick. We went to pleasure beach and that really met expectations (ques... more

I decided to book a trip with Blackpool Promotions in September 2007 after seeing their advert in the local paper. The price seemed almost to good to be true, and it was!! Things started badly and went down hill from there, the coach driver, who picked us up in what can only be described as a "shed on wheels", was... more
