Myself and four friends stayed at the Wilmar for a weekend in October. Fantastic location, literally 5 minutes walk to Pleasure Beach and the waterfront. The rooms are furnished comfortably and are very clean. There are lovely extra touches such as bottled water and chocolates in the rooms. This was our first stay at The Wilmar and WE certainly will be going back again. Both Derek and Rhian not only made us welcome (Dawn and Sammy from Staindrop) but also our children who had booked in across the road as they were fully booked up. absolutely fantastic hotel to stay in,there are loads to choose from in the area but this is the pick of the lot.very welcoming and friendly,derek and rian are the nicest couple you could ever meet and they treat you like family when you stay there.cant praise this hotel enough,really made my stay in the area fabulous.definetely recommended!!! more
