I stayed here for the Easter Bank holiday. Checked in on the Thursday night and out on the Monday. I got there early so no waiting to check it. Staff helpful and paid in full on arrival. On arrival the receptionist insisted that we checked out the room before booking in, we were given the key and looked into room 205, it was clean airy and had a nice fresh smell, the bed linen was clean and bed well made, carpets were seen to be freshly vaccumed and no dust on any surfaces. Just returned from a weekend at howards crest hotel, a bus load of us went and it was a brilliant time, Ricky and his staff made us really welcome and couldn't do enough for us, the entertainment at night was great more

stayed here with the wife for a week, food, room, entertainment were all first class and ricky day must be the best club singer in the north west and the best manager of a hotel, never heard one complaint while i was there. more

do not go here howards crest is the worst hotel i have ever been to ie rooms are dirty and smell ????? and the hotel is in need of a revamp yes a revamp u are still in the 60/s70s no wonder everbody goes abroad more
