From the word "go", we knew we'd chosen the right place. Apart from the fact that it's great value, it became a home from home. Mark and Martyn (our hosts) are always welcoming, and did whatever they could to make our holiday feel that extra bit special. The rooms are nicely decorated with everything you need in them. There is... More

Lovely little B & B within walking distance to the seafront and town centre. Booked a de luxe room and was provided with everything needed, iron, safe, hairdryer, toiletries etc, etc. Very comfy bed and fabulous pillows! Only thing was room was so tiny and shower smallest I have ever seen. Fine for a couple of night but too cramped... More

Friendly good breakfast, clean, no noisy idiots. Late checkout. Done us perfectly. A little walk to the shops and tower but that's ok. Just far enough away from all the madness. The Astor Hotel provides superb value for money. Clean and comfortable rooms at really competitive rate. The full English breakfast is outstanding and nothing too much trouble for the hosts day or night. Thank you and would highly recommend

Great location, less than 5 minutes walk from the Train Station, arrived very early but had a friendly greeting & made us feel very welcome immediately. Allowed us to leave our cases in the bar whilst we went off for... More

The hotel was very homely and welcoming. Well situated near the north pier. Owners were friendly and nothing too much trouble. Lots of little extra touches in the room to make us feel at home i.e. flannels, comb etc. The décor was contemporary and bright. Television, radio, small fridge in the room and free Wi-Fi. Food great and plenty of... More

We booked this B&B through booking.com for me, my partner and a friend as we were going to watch a TV show being filmed in the winter gardens. We booked a double room and a single room with breakfast included on a Monday night. On the website it asked if we would like to leave a message for the owners... More
