Stayed at Rubens last weekend with a friend, paid £45 for the room which is a good price for Blackpool, usually pay £50+ so can't complain at the price. The owners were welcoming and friendly, cannot fault them at all. The hotel is a stones throw from the train station which was really handy and only a short walk from... More

Great location for Blackpool north station and Funny Girls where we were spending NYE . Both just a short walk away . After a bit of a struggle to park we were welcomed by the friendliest and most welcoming hosts we have met at a B n B , and after changing for our night out a complimentary drink to... More

The Rubens Hotel is an excellent place to stay wether you are travelling alone or in a group. Myself and 9 other girls stayed here for an end of season darts celebration for the weekend. As my partner and I were coming to Blackpool for one night for a concert, we were overwhelmed by the choice of accommodation available. After looking for gay friendly, reasonably priced B&Bs near the train station with good reviews, we narrowed it down to a handful. (Rubens won because I thought the teddies on the bed were a cute touch!)... More

Had another weekend break in Blackpool to see a show and stayed at Rubens. For value, location and great customer service, you wont beat Rubens. Lara and Ashley are excellent hosts and the breakfasts are "to die for". Most local attractions are within walking distance with some great bars and restaurants close by too. The choice of hotel can usually... More

My first time at Rubens. I was made to feel welcome even before I arrived. I slept well and had perfect breakfasts, well that's what a good B&B is all about isn't it? I can't fault the service, I was very well looked after during my stay in Blackpool. My first time at Rubens will not be the last.

What can I say about the Rubens Hotel it's so friendly and spotless Ashley and Lara can not do enough for you. They make you very welcome as soon as you step through the door. When you we go to Blackpool several times a year it's the only hotel we stay at, the breakfast is excellent. I would definately recommend
