My partner and i stayed 2 nights B&B at The Kensington Hotel in late July. I had booked the Hotel prior mainly due to its location towards the town centre and the pleasure beach. Unfortunately upon arrival, what seemed to be an attractive looking large Hotel on Blackpool's sea front online turned out to be a run down shabby looking... More

we spent a long weekend here. Its in a good location and the evenings are pretty quiet with regards to noise saying its on a seafront location. The exterior of the hotel has definitely seen better days with ripped awning leaking gutters and rotting wood and paintwork that is in dire need of doing. Outside be aware that parking is... More

The hotel is in a good position on the sea front but that's where it all ends, inside the hotel has seen better days smells a bit foisty as you enter, the people running the hotel do try to do their best for you while you are there. There was no bar open but then again there was nobody staying... More

Booked 4 nights b&b and evening meal. On arrival we found our room had dirty windows . We paid extra £5pppn for a Sea View room but could see nothing out the dirty windows. Also the "double glazing" was anything but as we could hear every little noise outside. The window ledge itself was rotten and the curtains were hanging... More

this hotel is clean the staff cannot do enough to help you, the entertainment is good, they are very laid back and don't rush you out of your rooms, it's a perfect location close to central pier and all the bars, we have stayed several times now and are going back next month, the manager is lovely, there was a... Went into hotel and could smell dampness. Manager did not introduce himself we had to ask his name. Bedroom on second floor with a sea view but as you went upstairs there was a smell and we saw a bucket collecting water on landing. Carpets were worn, bed was solid, toilet seat was broken, toilet had to be flushed 5... More

Stayed here for 1 night bed and breakfast in a 2 + 2 family room. Room and ensuite bathroom was very clean. I would not be put off by any of the bad reviews. The breakfast was really nice and the staff were very welcoming especially Robin the bar manager who kept us entertained most of the evening!! Remember Guys... More

First they kept us waiting to get to the room then when we got there we'd clearly paid over the odds for our family room shoved at the top corner. The room was shabby and cold. The bathroom lock was hanging off and the door did not close. Not major issues but surely there should be odd job men to... More

We have stayed at this hotel a few times for a country music weekend. Unfortunatly since the owners are no longer at the hotel the standards have somewhat slipped. Holes in the ceilings bathrooms with bits missing and the food very basic , frozen, tinned and reheated the hotel looks as if it needs a lot of money spending on it... More

When we arrived we were a little sceptical as from the outside it did look rather run down. We had a large party of family and check in was quick. Our room was a family/triple, the fixtures and fittings need to be sorted as the wall light was coming away from the wall, but the room was clean and fresh.... More
