Since I have just joined tripadvisor, I thought the first place I would review was The Fylde - a memorable place for a memorable trip. I stayed at The Fylde in November 2007 when myself and my partner Eddy went to see The Verve in Blackpool. We wanted somewhere inexpensive and comfortable to lay our bodies simply for the one... more

Once again we had a great stay at the Fylde. Very clean and comfortable, very friendly and very reasonably priced! It is situated in Palatine Road, close to Blackpool town centre but far enough from any noise at night. If you want cheap and nasty, there are plenty of places to choose from. But if you are looking for quality... more

Upon arrival Vicky met hubby and I on the car park, there she assisted us with our luggage and showed us our room. The room was no 1, downstairs hidden behind a fire door, which was great because you could not hear other residents coming in early hours and under the influence. The room was lovely and clean with prestine... more

We were attending a show at the Grand Theatre and stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. There is not one thing i can say to fault it. It is the best place in Blackpool that we have ever stayed in. The rooms were really big and spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee were in abundance, The bathroom was really spacious... more

Four colleagues and i were working at an exhibition over two days. It was a little stressful but having somewhere so home from home really made the difference. Vicky and her father were very welcoming and good hosts. The rooms were excellent; the beds were clean and extremely comfortable. The showers in all the rooms we stayed in were amazing!... more

What a delightful hotel. Welcoming, friendly, excellent customer service when it was required, but never intrusive. Breakfast was excellent, as we are vegartarian, it was perfect to set us up for a long drive back to London. Room was clean and comfortable with the nice touches of free tea and coffee. I think we were the only ones staying at... more

Stayed here for two nights 05-07 Nov 2008 to go to a concert at the winter gardens and had a super time. Booked through hostelbookers with ease and got an immediate confirmation from both hostelbookers and The Fylde Hotel. Vicky welcomed us on arrival and showed us to our room (no 5). The room was clean with an LCD TV... more
