Ten members of the family, from ages 1-81 have just returned from a lovely weekend at the Glenwalden. The hotel is situated on the promenade on the north side of the Tower, with great sea views from the front facing rooms and the guest conservatory. The Tower / Pleasure Beach can be reached by tram (although dont rely on the... more

We stayed with Sigrid and Steve for 6 nights, originally booked 4. It is the cleanest hotel I have ever seen, Sigrid makes you feel like a friend not a customer. We are going back in October for a short stay with the children this time and taking a friend. Excellent, thank you Sigrid and Steve more

Hotel of high quality, clean and tidy etc. Steve and Sigrid most welcoming and are very friendly people. Were very good with my sisters young children. The Glenwalden Hotel is a 10 bedroom hotel with the highest standard of cleanliness I have ever experienced. The owners Sigrid and Steve and so friendly. We are going back in a couple of months taking the children next time. The cooked breakfast is great with as much tea/coffee and toast as you like, not a bit of grease....lovely!!! Highly... more

Just returned from Blackpool after going up to see Coventry play them at football, stayed at the Glenwalden for two nights with Sigrid and Steve. The hotel is spotless clean and the rooms are really nicely decorated. We have stayed in Blackpool many times but this is the best place we have ever stayed in. Although Sigrid was really poorly... more

This is the best B & B we have stayed in, from the moment you walk through the door you can "smell" how clean this place is. we were instantly made welcome by Sigrid and quickly booked in and shown to our immaculately clean and spacious ensuite rooms. Being a 10 - 15 minute walk away from the tower this... more

We were delighted with our stay at the Glenwalden. The centre of Blackpool in general is a little run down, so the Northend of the promenade is by far the nicest area to stay. The hotel itself is clean and bright with a large sun lounge, bar and terrace from which you can watch the sun set! The Proprietor was... more

We stayed for a night on our way back to Scotland. Clean and comfortable and excellent breakfast. The hotel is in stark contrast to the rest of Blackpool which appears generally shabby and tired. more
