I find it funny to think that people expect the "Ritz" at "Colditz" prices. 8 of us went there last year to watch the darts in blackpool and had a brilliant time. Josef the bar man was comedy genuis as was DJ Maurice and the bingo/diso that had us in stitches. If you take the place seriously and your looking... more

Previous comments have called this the dirtiest hotel in England. I would definately agree. Our room (allegedly their best one!) wasn't ready on our arrival at 4.30pm although you can book in after 3pm and our coach driver had phoned ahead to inform the hotel of the exact time of arrival. Had to wait over an hour just to get... more

As stated in previous rewiews, I could also have cried when I seen the hotel. Firstly, our keys were given to us with no directions to the rooms or bar/dining rooms.... more

Very disappointing compared to pictures on website and small brochure they send. On arrival could have cried, hotel very old fashioned inside, has a very dodgy excuse for a 'lift' built into the wall, only holds three people and broke down whilst we were there. The rooms are tiny, the bathroom door opens into the foot of the bed! The... more

I stayed at this hotel for my hen weekend last august and I found the reception staff quite rude. The rooms were very small, so small in fact that in some of the rooms, when you opened the door it hit the bed straightaway. The rooms with just a shower had incredibly small bathrooms and they weren't anything spectacular. However,... more
