The food was roar and as cold as ice but it sure did please some off the fam especially the greedy ones. Stayed at this hotel last autumn, a cheap hotel but if you've got kids don't stay on a Saturday night as they have what seemed like an all night bar open and the noise was horrific. Also if you are young and want to stay out late and visit the bars/clubs make sure you get a front door key, as... More

Really enjoyed our stay here, will definitely be returning. Rooms were clean, and looked really nice. Staff were very friendly and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Breakfast was also really nice and there was a was a good selection of breakfast items. Can't fault it, very impressed.

This is our third time that we as a family have stayed at The Alexandra Hotel, and the first time under new ownership. Without question, significant improvements have been made and big strides have been taken in transforming this hotel into one of Blackpool's finest. I simply cannot fault the hospitality and generosity of the new proprietor; Philip Millar. As... More

Our third time to the Alexandra and the first time in which the new proprietor was in charge, Phillip. He was a lovely man, couldn't have done anymore for us, if we wanted something, he had it for us there waiting. The breakfast couldn't be knocked, he cooked it perfectly and it was up to everybodies standard. The rooms are... More

I am surprised by these reviews. This has to rate as one of the worst guesthouses I have encountered. Windows filthy, carpets not vacuumed, personal hygiene of the proprietor looking highly suspect. On a positive note, the proprietor was extremely pleasant and helpful but the basics need to be looked at urgently, starting with a good thorough clean throughout I... More
