Clean room, delicious freshly cooked breakfast (with a good choice of breakfast), friendly owner and lovely staff. This is a great value hotel at the north prom end (it was nice and quiet at night!) but still only a 15/20 minute pleasant walk to the Tower/centre, and we will definitely return.

Stayed for three nights and had a very comfortable time at this friendly B&B. We had one sea view room which was lovely for our elderly mother who enjoyed sitting in the window seat looking at the view in the mornings. We were made to feel very welcome and taxis were ordered for us when required. We had a wheelchair... More

Booked 2 twin rooms for 2 night whilst visiting for the darts matchplay. Could not have asked for a better b&b really. -The staff were very polite and helpful at all times. -The rooms were clean but one of the toilets was abit of a mission to get onto. -Location is spot on the right end of town so we... What a little gem of a hotel! Lovely spacious room and spotless. Friendly, helpful landlord who helped us sort out a taxi and restaurant, what a lovely man. Fantastic breakfast cooked to order, there is even a menu with a good selection of a variety of breakfasts. Will return.

The best breakfast I have ever tasted. I was really worried about this part of my break. As for myself Breakfast is the key to making me have a happy day or not. But I need not have worried the staff made sure I was well looked after and the choice and quality on offer was out of this world... More

1st foray into the world of the B&B. Easy access to car park and the Baron not too far out from town. Asked for twin room at the front. Greeted cheerfully by Graham and shown to the lift, which is very slow but useful. Room 27 is on the top floor and you need to walk the last flight. The... More

The hotel on its own was a nice place, the rooms on first inspection were clean, we stayed 2 nights and not once were the tea/coffee replaced, the room was not cleaned and the towels were not replaced. The bar was ridiculously expensive!! £6 for a double spirit and mixer! And no beers on draft all bottled and expensive. Breakfast... More

I recently stayed at The Baron Hotel, It was an enjoyable and pleasant stay. The staff where very friendly and approachable and where able to provide advise on the best places to eat in the evenings and even booked us a taxi to take us to the restaurant! On arrival i was advised that there was wifi freely available, which... More

Me and my parter stayed here as we was off to sunny Blackpool to enjoy the sea air and basically get sloshed. We booked the superior room as we wanted to go all out. At first instant the hotel looks standard, walking in is very homely and you get the sense of warmth even though the decor is a bit... More
