Stayed for a tournament weekend, was absolutely dreading it due to previous reviews but was proved wrong. Staff were great, provided a meal even though we were late, the waiter in the dining room was quick and efficient. Room was fine, clean only problem was draughty window and no hot water. I wouldn't normally go in a communal shower but... More

It was useful for us that is very close to Blackpool South train station but it has also parking if anyone needs. Food was good and plenty of it. Just a nice walk to Sandcastle and North Blackpool attractions - we could go on foot with our small daughter both directions.

Myself and my family were here as part of a football tournament and were worried about coming when reading reviews. Everyone had problems with their rooms, and none of the rooms appeared to have been hoovered. They need to completely renovate the hotel right now. It is not clean and is unsafe. It has just been taken over by new... More

had the misfortune of staying in this hotel last week. Linda and Sandra at check in desk tried their best but there is not much they can do with a hotel that needs knocked down. Bedrooms smell of stale cigarette smoke and musty. Bathrooms dirty even after being cleaned for a second time. Bed linen was not clean. Covers stained... More

Was allocated this hotel from an organizer from Blackpool as part of a football tournament. On arrival we were given keys.. Some rooms ready, some not. Was welcomed by some scary lady drinking a pint as I was heading to my room.. One minute she was there next minute she was in a heap at the bottom of the stairs... More

I booked this hotel for my 30th Birthday party. At first it seemed ok. Cheap & cheerful as they say. - oh how wrong we were! The staff are extremely rude. The don't have an ounce of customer service between them. They don't communicate with each other. I was told for 7 weeks that the small function room was exclusive... More

Stayed at colonial for valentines day. Check in was fine. Staff very welcoming. Place in need of updating. Got upgraded to see view family room. Rooms need a lick of paint. Beds were comfy. Didnt get up for breakfast so can't comment. For the price was a pleasant stay for what we wanted it for. Sleeping after a full days... More
