Stayed here for 5 days and enjoyed every minute.Owners very friendly and were great with children. The rooms were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was lovely and everything piping hot.Lifts to all floors. Tram stop outside hotel so easy to get anywhere. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel and the Blyth family will certainly return.

My husband, myself, daughter, son in law and two grandsons stayed here two nights in this family run old style hotel. We were met with a great welcome and all the information we needed to help us enjoy our stay. In the bar was the old fashioned PAC Man table gaming machines and it was great for our two grandsons aged 8 and... More

We booked this hotel very last minute and got the last double room in the hotel, expecting it to be below average....it wasn't, we had a lovely room, although a tad small, it was spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable. We were able to come and go as we pleased, no silly rules to abide by. Breakfast was lovely with... More

The added bonus was the fact that tea and coffee could be made in the room. All keys were issued as soon as we arrived... More

We were greeted very warmly by the hosts and issued all our keys. The rooms were very clean and tidy with towels changed daily. The tea an coffee were... More

We have now stayed at this hotel 4 years running during the Totally Transport weekend in June. The proprieter Charles and his manager Ruby are truly exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble and they are thoughtfull and accomodating. Even if the hotel was horrid, it would be worth staying here for the service they provide. However, the hotel itself is... More
