Extremely friendy staff welcomed us at midnight! nothing was too much trouble as we were tierd and ready for rest after our journey. The room was clean, comfortable and very cosy, the en suite and all other room facilities meant we had all we needed to hand! Breakfast was fabulous and made to order exactly as we asked. Just came back from a weekend trip with husband and two kids (age 5 and 2). Found the hotel a great place to stay - 5mins walk to entrance of pleasure beach - a long walk away from the North Pier but just jump on a Tram or Horse & Trap! Great fun for the kids! Breakfast was excellent! A... more

The hotel has a free car park to the front .The owner, Charles made us feel very welcome and breakfasts were very good, a standard english breakfast with a choice... more

Our room was very diappointing! Where to begin! The carpet was dirty and marked, room was tiny (had a 3 bed room, could barely walk between the... more

When looking around the internet for 'pet friendly' hotels it really limits your choice and it's a case of either settling for a dingy B&B on the outskirts of Preston or paying the ridiculous price of fancy new mansions who charge an extra £50 for the dog. So we thought we'd stumbled upon a cracker when we found the Colwyn... more

Where do I start... The staff were so friendly! they couldn't do enough for you. I moved my car from the carpark onto the road one day and accidently put my steering lock on, (where the keys to unlock it were in Newcastle!!!). I went to see the manager to ask if he had anything to get it off with.... more
