Had a stag weekend here and it served the purpose (somewhere to sleep). Decor is dated, rooms smelled musty. It does have a cracking seafront view, and breakfast wasnt bad. We went for a pint after returning from the town at 2am too find a few naked welsh lads playing darts, not a pretty sight. If you fancy a weekender... More

We had a large family group of us (15ppl), we struggled to find somewhere as it was the Blackpool illuminations and there were so many of us, however, the queensgate Hotel managed to make room for us (we had two large family rooms, each accommodating 9 people), the rooms were excellent, clean, spacious and had a lovely view of the... Overall great hotel, great staff and a fantastic breakfast. The rooms are basic but that was all we needed. The radiator didn't work in room 7 so was pretty cold, the double mattress was pretty old and like a bag of springs. In all fairness though the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and even let us have a... More

We have stayed here twice now and both times we have no complaints! It's not the Hilton nor does it cost the Hilton price, it has renovations on the go which is duly noted and they are in progress, the Romans didn't build Rome in a day!! It has a bar, which is reasonably priced, it provides a very good... More

We stayed here as a family just for 1 night. We had adjoining rooms which together held 9 ppl, althought there were only 8 of us including 3 children. Plenty of space in the rooms, shower was hot and everything worked as it should so no complaints. For breakfast there was a choice of cereal, orange juice and toast before... More

We had a great stay. The staff were very helpful, being in contact before we arrived to help with taxi bookings, directions and altering numbers and rooms. They managed to put our party all along the same corridor which was really handy, and Angela the landlady showed great kindness over a situation I had, which I really appreciated. Yes the... More

The rooms were below average, but what can you expect for the price. On closer inspection the room was worse than first thought. Bedding was stained, only two of the four lights worked or even had light bulbs inside, Shower tripped the electrics, One of the single beds was held together with what can only be described as a preloved...
