We were visiting Blackpool for a wedding, and have to say we were actually dreading it as we had never found any where even vaguely nice to stay on previous visits. Luckily a friend recommended this place, we checked out the reviews on here and thought they were too good to be true.. but they really are true! We arrived... more

I have just got back from a short break in Ilfracombe.....it was dire. However it confirmed what I really always knew, the Pembroke Hotel really is the best and its hosts Michael and Alan are wonderful...nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the food great (especially the 'Eggs Benny!). I usually visit the hotel... more

Based on the great holiday we had last year at the Pembroke with two retired Australian friends, eight other friends asked to join my wife and I this year. The unanimous verdict was that the hotel exceeded all expectations in its welcome, food, comfort, service and location. There was a welcoming tea or coffee on arrival whilst our luggage was... more

I took my parents and my 3 year old son for a last minute break this weekend and wish we could have stayed longer. My first experience of finding the hotel was via the hotel website which was very impressive and when we arrived it definitely lived up to our expectations. The attention to detail and level of service offered... more

We have just returned home after our 7th Stay at The Pembroke 5 of those years have been with Michael & Alan. From the minute you arrive on the doorstep you are made to feel like one of the family. A nice welcome cuppa is on hand whilst the lads take your luggage to your rooms. The rooms are fantastic... more

Once again a lovely stay at the Pembroke. This time more of our friends came with us. Ten of us stayed there this week. Michael and Alan you make us welcome, make us smile and make us laugh from the moment we arrive to the moment we leave. I genuinely recommend this hotel to anyone who loves some good old... more

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend break at the Pembroke. Room and food were very good but what made the stay really special was the attitude of the staff. All very friendly, professional, and nothing was too much trouble. Will defiinitely be rebooking. more

My wife and I have been holidaying in Blackpoo for thirty seven years, we have stayed in most of the larger hotels in Blackpool, then last year after a bad hotel experience we met an elderly couple who recomended the Pembroke, and I can say without question it`s the best hotel we have ever stayed at, from meeting Allan and... more

My son (10 yrs) and I stayed at The Pembroke this month (November) during one of their Christmas Shopping Weekend Specials and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The standard of accommodation was very high and the welcome pack included all you need for the morning after - toothbrush & paste, razor & shaving cream for those 'whoops I forgot' moments. The... more
