Stayed at this B&B for a friend's 50th Birthday weekend a couple of years ago so booked again for earlier this month for 10 lads to go and watch the darts at the Winter Gardens. The premises has in-between changed hands and not for the better. Booked in January and they insisted on a deposit. Ended up paying £600 in advance. I received confirmation of payment and the number/type of rooms. It was £75 per person for 2 nights which, in itself, is expensive for Blackpool. We turned up to find the place locked so we phoned the number on the door. They said they had no knowledge of us staying that weekend and they were already fully booked. After a lot of argument someone turned up, I confirmed my payment and their information e-mails. I was told it would take about 4 hours to make up around 6 rooms. I asked what time the breakfast was only to be told that they don't do breakfast. Absolutely shocking. Stay well away.

Stay here for just 1 night however it was amazing. Was able to check in early and within walking distance to the centre and attractions such as Coral Island and Sea Life Centre. Made to feel very welcome and entertained well. Would definately stay again! Thank you for an amazing stay guys!

We wanted a plain and simple, no frills B&B - which we got. Typical 1970's bathroom with plugs hanging off walls etc... you pay for what you get and it was clean which is the main thing. The room was cold, which initially wasn't an issue but in the middle of the night it just got worse and having to ring a number regarding the heating was off-putting - we weren't going to ring at 2am to ask for heating to be put on. The beds were unbearable with the springs sticking in your back and need serious upgrades, as well as the headboards as these were extremely worn. I can't comment on the breakfast as due to COVID there wasn't a breakfast provided (no discount though) and I can't comment on the hosting as we were greeted at around 5:30pm and never saw anybody after nor in the morning. Not the worst experience, but I expected more due to the great reviews, maybe we visited too out of season?

Booked here because booking.com messed up my original booking over booked original hotel. Re booked to stay here and contacted hotel to make sure there was room available, answered straight away and on arrival Amanda showed us the room, nice and clean and can’t really say anything bad as it’s very close to town, Des and Amanda very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was spot on, full English cooked fresh, loads of cereal for kids and fruit and yogurt with endless coffee. If you want a friendly hotel, near the town centre this place I recommend and definitely will be returning.

Spent a weekend here and have never felt so welcome in a hotel. Des and Amanda are great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Our rooms were spotless and they do a lovely breakfast. I’ll definitely stay here again when visiting Blackpool.

My friend and I stayed here and because of the price we weren't expecting much but we were wrong. The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable. You get tea and coffee and a bottle of water in the room and a decent breakfast in the morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great too as it's just a short walk to the pleasure beach. There is secure parking just round the corner. Would definitely recommend.

I booked here as I was visiting Blackpool for one night , On arrival we were shown to our rooms which are basic but you get what you pay for. The shower wasn't fantastic but again its a cheap stay and just what you need if its only a stay to get your head down. The breakfast was super, Full English and as much toast as one could eat. The staff serving were great, friendly and attentive. Its a great location, only a 6 or 7 minute walk to the Centre. I would definitely recommend it , if you are looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful and close the to centre.

Lovely hosts, good location, good breakfast, clean rooms. Rooms are quite basic but with all the other good things going for it, and biscuits in the room you can't go wrong!! Hosts can't do enough for you.
