We arrived in Blackpool for a one night stay. We were just looking for cheap accomodation and upon driving down the golden mile were drawn to the sign offering "luxory rooms for £18 pppn. back to new oceans 4 christmas all staff still there andy chef still doing fab food apu still running hotel great fat old tom still doing reception and waiting for his bus pass and all the others a long with the hotel it fab and waiting to go back 09 after the refurb carnt wait more

Just spent the weekend here and was very pleased with the service from staff duty manager Tom was most helpfull and cooked a mean breakfast all staff were very pleasant the hotel is under going a refurb and should be 100% .rooms at present are a little tatty but you get what you pay for. We have just returned after this was booked by my husbands parents for his mums 70th birthday. they paid over £1000 for 18 of us to stay...it was disgusting. The front of the hotel looks very presentable and the reception area looks clean and tidy, however do not be fooled, the rooms are disgusting. When we went to check in we asked if we could see the room first only be told "not really" alarm bells should have rung then......we paid our ££ and was told to come back... more
