We are a family of 2 adults and 2 nine year old children. We stayed at The Carousel Hotel, Blackpool in order to see the illuminations. The hotel was fantastic throughout. Great location, great room, amazing helpful professional staff, the best buffet breakfast I have ever had and superb value for money evening meal in the bar. Childrens menu was... more

We had stayed at the Carousel once before and because we enjoyed our stay so much chose it again for it's peaceful location! Although the hotel caters very well for it's guests it also chooses to hold noisy functions and this was the case on the 2nd night of our stay, the party unbelievably went on until 2am, we were... more

The hotel was nice and modern and clean. We had a family room on the 3rd floor which had sea views and the room was nice and spacious. Would of like a box of cosmetic tissues in the room though which are handy if you are travelling with little ones like we were. We had our meal in the restaurant... more

When arriving at our room, we booked a double bed and we received twin beds, the hotel was booked therefore we had to stay with the twim beds. Twin beds were horrible with the springs hurting my back. complained to reception and we were moved to a double room the following morning. Our double room was over the kitchen ,the... more

Just returned from another visit to the Carousel. The hotel is still of the same quality as I've mentioned before. Food is still superb and they are doing an amazing midweek break for £139. My only concern this time as mentioned in another travellers review was the barmaid who could only serve one table at a time in the resturant... more

Group of 4 of us returned to The Carousel for a 2 night break, greeted by the same friendly face that was there last August, Dinner superb, geordie manager had left, but no dropping in standards the young girl who replaced her was a pleasure, and the same staff faces were smiling, most other places staff change around everytime you... more

If you're ever unfortunate enough to visit Blackpool then this hotel is a great place to stay, the rooms are not massive but they are very clean and look like they have been refurbished lately, the only downside was we were next to the lift and you could hear it going up and down. we booked d+b/b for £87 and... more
